LEGO: Minas Tirith Is No Longer A Rumor – New Massive LotR Set Revealed
The long-rumored set is no longer a rumor, and it is just as massive as those rumors predicted – over 8,000 pieces.
Minas Tirith, the White City, The Tower of Guard. Capital of the realm of Gondor and seat of the Stewards. There are a few more iconic locations in the Lord of the Rings setting, and a few more striking and beautiful.
Built by the survivors of Numenor as a fortress. Over time, it evolved into a major city and the capital of the southern realm of Gondor. By the time of The Lord of the Rings, it was the most important city in the world and a major bastion protecting the free peoples from the might of Mordor. It is also the setting for a good section of the books, featuring the pivotal siege of Gondor and the Battle of Pelennor Fields.
The Lord of the Rings: Minas Tirith (11377)
This hybrid-scale model has an intricate microscale majestic city of Gondor on the outside, which houses a minifigure-scale interior. The exterior captures the towering architecture built around a mast of stone, the layered city walls, and the citadel that defined one of Middle-earth’s most memorable locations. The interior centers on the famous throne room, with Denthor’s dining table. There are also some fun easter eggs for movie fans. to discover as they build.

The set includes ten minifigures: Gandalf the White, Faramir, Denethor (with tomatoes), Peregrin Took, Aragorn as King Elessar (with his crown), Aragorn’s horse, and four Soldiers of Gondor, plus a Shadowfax horse figure.

Barad-Dûr (10333)
The 5,471-piece build is split into four main sections; the tower section is fully modular. The dark tower features a throne room with a complement containing a map and a ladder to the top floor. The 4th floor is home to Mouth of Sauron’s study, while the 5th floor houses a tower library with a rotating ladder. At the summit of the tower is the Eye of Sauron, which rotates in various directions and features a light brick to make the eye glow.

The Shire (10354)
This set recreates Bilbo Baggins’ eleventy-first birthday celebration, complete with dragon fireworks. Build Bag End with its iconic round green door and detailed interior with an entrance hall, study, and parlor. Bilbo’s book, which can be displayed open or closed, can be found in the study. Join the birthday festivities in the Shire with fireworks, a firework dragon figure, the Party Tree, and a party pavilion.

Build Elrond’s home where the fellowship formed and the adventure began with this set. This massive set, inspired by Peter Jackson’s movies, invites you to build and explore the beautiful elven valley. Build the council ring, the river bridge, and the statues of elven warriors. It also includes fan-favorite moments, objects from the magical place, and minifigs for the characters.
