Pretty much exactly what it says right there in the headline, folks. As part of Warhammer Skulls 2026, the Warhammer video game fest, there’s a whole lot going on, not the least of which is a sale on Warhammer games from throughout the years. Though one deal in particular is barricading a steal; Warhammer 40K: Gladius is free to keep through May 28th.

If you’ve never played Gladius, here’s what you need to know, it’s basically the 40K 4X game. That is to say it’s grand strategy in the grim darkness of the distant future. Aka an absolute blast as you vie for control of a distant world upon which there is only war. And a little bit of basebuilding.
We’ve talked about it before. It’s been out a while. But it doesn’t get much better than this. It’s absolutely worth the price of admission, and would be even if it wasn’t free.
