Marvel Crisis Protocol: Add Space Vikings To Your Games With New Asgardian Starter Set
The Asgardian Starter set has crossed the Rainbow Bridge and is available for pre-order now.
Atomic Mass Games has revealed the latest of their Marvel Crisis Protocol Starter Sets. This time, the heroes and occasional villains of Asgard arrive in force. The Asgardians Starter Set is now available for pre-order, is priced at $124.99 MSRP, and is slated for release on July 31st.

Asgardian Roster
This set is a one-stop shopping excursion for players who want to wield the full might of Asgard upon the tabletop.
At the heart of the set are ten awesome miniatures of fan-favorite Asgardians, including Thor, Loki, Valkyrie, Lady Sif, Heimdall, Mighty Thor, Angela, Enchantress, Skurge, and the Warriors Three. This set of models comprises the current full Roster available to Asgardians, making this a great product for new players or anyone thinking of expanding their collection to include all of their favorite space Vikings.
The figures are accompanied by all the peripherals you need for a game of MCU. Within the box are character stat cards, team tactic cards, crisis cards, dice, movement tools, range rulers, and mission tracker. I really appreciate a minis game starter that has all of these peripherals. Sure, we all have dice and rulers etc but it never hurts to have another on hand. I also love the thematic design elements on the range rulers for these sets. They’re a nice little touch of extra immersion while you’re gaming.
Impressive Sculpts
This is such a fantastic collection of models whether you play MCP or just like to paint miniatures. Personally, I’m tempted to pick them up just because I absolutely love the sculpts. They’re real love-letters to both current Marvel artwork and Jack Kirby’s original psychedelic take on the Norse pantheon.

Naturally, Thor and Loki are at the center of the lineup. These are extremely dynamic figures both of which will look suitably imposing on the tabletop. Who needs a tactical rock to stand on when you have tactical lightning? Super cool stuff.

Valkyrie is easily the largest model in the set. She’d be an imposing leader in a full mass-battles-game but she’s really going to dominate the table in a skirmish game like MCP.

The Warriors Three might be my favorite models in this set. I love a semi-diorama base and the three of them will have great visual table presence.

I’m also particularly taken with the Heimdall sculpt. The figure itself is awesome, of course, but the basing elements that integrate the Bifrost look like they’ll be great fun to paint.
All in all, this is a very cool set and another worthy addition to MCP’s lineup of starter sets. And they’ll look awesome battling over the Asgardian Shrine!
Where’s Beta Ray Bill, though?!
