New Heroes for Star Wars Legion & Marvel Crisis Protocol On The Way

The Jedi Council and the Winter Guard will take command of their respective battlefields later this summer.

A pair of new box sets is up for pre-order now from Atomic Mass Games. The Jedi Council arrives to take up the fight alongside the Republic’s clone troopers, while the Winter Guard takes up arms in defense of their homeland.

Jedi Council

A quartet of Jedi make up this upcoming release for Star Wars: Legion. Mace Windu, Ki-Adi Mundi, Plo Koon, and Shaak Ti have been dispatched to put down the Separatist uprising alongside the loyal Clone Troopers of the Republic.

This set of four miniatures is accompanied by everything you need to add them to your games of Star Wars: Legion. Two Commander cards and two Operative cards give you all the stats for your models. Uou can augment them further with a set of four upgrade cards, six command cards and a punch sheet of game tokens.

This set is $59.99 and is now available for pre-order, set to release on August 21st, 2026.

Winter Guard

Meanwhile, in the Marvel universe, the stalwart heroes of the Winter Guard are now available for pre-order, priced at $64.99 and releasing August 21st, 2026. This set adds four elite heroes to your rosters with Crimson Dynamo, Red Guardian, Dark Star and Ursa Major.

The four miniatures in the set are accompanied by six Team Tactic cards and four stat cards, one for each hero. Use them together or add them to an existing roster as you desire.

These are just a great pair of miniatures box sets. I know the Jedi Council figures in particular have been long anticipated by Legion players. Those four Jedi are such iconic characters and it’s going to be fun seeing people paint them up. The MCP release, on the other hand, is a deeper cut from the Marvel Universe, but I love seeing more obscure characters get a moment in the spotlight.

I don’t even play Star Wars Legion but I need a Samuel L. Jackson miniature.
