This week’s Kickstarter roundup includes ‘Let’s Play’ blind dates, mysterious psychic powers, a ‘Pirate Borg’ adventure, and much more!
Rolling Deep & Eureka
This campaign is a two-for-one, with two dice-based solo games. Players can pledge for just one or the other, or get both games in a bundle. If you’re looking for more ways to enjoy some solo gaming, this campaign has you covered. Twice.
Journey to the Center of the Earth in this Balatro-inspired roguelike dice game for one player with Rolling Deep. And mine for gems and manage your dice supply in this Yahtzee-insured solo campaign in Eureka!
Sprout
In Sprout, you’ve come into possession of a growing collection of houseplants, and now you have to figure out how to keep them alive. This is a cute and cozy game where you can grow a beautiful potted garden, or kill your plants if you’re not careful. And for someone like me with a black thumb, it may be the only way I ever keep a plant alive.
You just adopted new houseplants. Now you just need to keep them alive! But with a growing plant collection, sprouting your plant babies is far from easy. To succeed, give your houseplants the right nutrients. But give too much and you’ll wilt your leafy friends!
The Monolith
The Monolith is a war game of maneuvering, tactics, and well-timed backstabbing. The origin of the monolith is unknown, as well as the powers it seems to wield. But everyone on the map will do anything for it.
Human explorers landed upon an alien world, eager to study, only to discover a horrifying intelligence awaited them. A monolith of unknown origin and design has seized hold of their minds and reduced the humans to violent psychopaths who now battle for the stone’s secret unknown purposes.
To the unfortunate humans, the Monolith is a thing of divinity, and its vile, psychic whispers demand absolute devotion. The Monolith is an exciting game of brutal combat. In it, players are represented by shamans, warrior-priests who believe they and they alone can interpret the true will of the Monolith. The shamans lead bands of warriors in battle against each other, claiming their peers are vile apostates who falsely claim to be the true mouthpieces of the stone.

PsiRun
Waking up with psychic powers would be wild. But what if you also had massive holes in your memory and didn’t even remember where your powers came from? In Psi*Run, players join forces as escapees-slash-potential superheroes to figure out how to use their powers, what’s going on, and fill in the blanks in their memory.
What would you do if you woke up, just now, with the smell of melting plastic and the sound of straining metal and blank spots in your memory of what came before? What would you do if you knew you had super-natural powers, but couldn’t seem to quite remember how they worked?? What would you do if the only thing you knew for certain was that someone dangerous was after you, determined to capture you? You’d run.
This is how Psi*Run, the one-shot tabletop roleplaying game of people with psionic powers and amnesia, always begins: with a crash and a chance to run.
Something Buried, Something Due
Coming from the Pirate Borg universe, this is an adventure grounded in real-world history, but with the classic dark twist you’d expect from the game system. You’ve taken on a treacherous pirate job, and while you can lie to anyone, you can also expect everyone to be lying to you.

Don Pedro de Salazar is sailing for Maracaibo on what he believes is a quiet errand. What he does not know is that pirates have been hired to assassinate him once he reaches Lake Maracaibo.
Can the pirates stay out of sight of the Spanish watchmen? How will they pass the fort that guards the treacherous channel? Might help be found among the many feuding factions of the peninsula, and if so, how might they be made to do the pirates’ bidding, willing or otherwise?
