Star Wars: Legion – Mandalorian Special Edition Unboxed
Atomic Mass Games dives deep into the contents of their upcoming Mandalorian Army Box. Come see what you get!
The Mandalorian Special Edition Army Box is just days away from its release on June 19th. The folks at Atomic Mass Games are here to root around in this giant box of Boba Fetts (Bobas Fett?) and show us just what’s inside.
A Pile of Sprues
This box set has just tons of grey plastic to get excited about. Measuring sticks, bases, dice, and of course, sprues…

The full contents include:
- 36 Miniatures
- 36 Bases
- 12 Unit Cards
- 12 Command Cards
- 15 Upgrade Cards
A huge stack of sprues includes everything you need to build an absolute legend, Grogu, alongside The Mandalorian himself, Din Djarin. Naturally, they’re accompanied by piles of other Mandalorians, like the Armorer. The contents of this box can be used to build 36 miniatures, including Mandalorian Initiates and Warriors.
The box contains a diverse set of miniatures, enough to build a 600-point Recon-level army using the Mandalorian Battle Force rules. Accompanied by a number of peripherals, pretty much all you’d need to start playing is a willing opponent and some terrain.
Cards and Tokens
To round it all out, Atomic Mass Games has included all the cards and tokens you need to get this force onto the table. Original art and clever iconography help immerse you in a Star Wars experience. The tokens are similarly thematic and will look great on the tabletop. I love tokens that function without taking you out of the game and these really hit the mark. They look like the sort of icons you might see in the HUD of a Mandalorian or other Star Wars character. Really fun stuff.
The Mandalorian Special Edition Army Box is available for pre-order now and set to release later this week on June 19th. This is such a cool set and it’s a real dream-come-true for us 80s and 90s Star Wars kids.
No distintegrations! Okay, fine. You can have a few disintegrations. As a treat.
