Warhammer Next Week: Slaanesh Hedonists And Skaven Scurriers
Next week, pleasure and pain descend upon the Mortal Realms as the forces of Slaanesh get a whole bunch of new releases for Age of Sigmar.
Next week, the Mortal Realms get a lot more sensuous as the forces of Slaanesh get a fresh wave of releases. Leading with a new Battletome and a General’s Handbook, as well as a new spearhead and vanguard box. Plus Skaven supplemental sneaks. All this, next week!
Slaanesh, Skaven, And Strategy
It all starts with the new Hedonites of Slaanesh Battletome. Inside are all the rules you need for your Slaaneshi forces, including updated warscrolls and a Path to Glory campaign.
Alongside the Slaaneshi battletome, there’s the new General’s Handbook. Inside are the updated matched play rules, as well as 12 new battleplans, a new system of Aqshian Crusades and uldated Advanced Rules modules.
But enough about the rules, let’s look at the minis. Starting with the new Lord of Hysteria. These are Slaaneshi warriors that share their body with a pleasure-daemon, gaining all sorts of chaotic power as a result.
Who will your new Lord of Hysteria lead? Well you might give them a Spearhead strikeforce, like the new Epicurean Revellers. Inside this “compact” force, you’ll find the legendary Thricefold Discord, flanked by 20 Daemonettes, 3 Fiends, and 5 Seekers.
Or there’s the Decadent Host battleforce, for those truly dedicated to depravity. Inside this big boxed set are 5 Slickblade Seekers and 5 Myrmidesh Painbringers, 3 Slaangor Fiendbloods, and 10 Blissbarb Archers (plus their Blissbrew Homonculus).
Speaking of the Thricefold Discord, this legendary trio of daemons is all about the power of sin, bringing buffs and debuffs to the table.
Pick up the new Regiment of Renown, the Accursed Reflection, which has three Endless Spells and the Contorted Epitome. Bring magical mayhem to your army.
In the City of Ash gaming pack, you’ll find a list of rules, objectives, cards, and a double-sided gaming board so you can bring Spearhead to the titular city.
The Skaven scurry forth with a new kit that has 10 Gutter Runners which can also be built as Night Runners.
And cap it all off with the new Deathmaster Crixxit, who slinks into the shadows of the Mortal Realms, ready to assassinate any who threaten the Skaven’s inscrutable plans.
