LEGO Technic makes things work, with mighty mechanisms and fine-tuned engineered features. Behind each Technic set are three guiding principles: authenticity (to make the vehicles feel as lifelike as possible), functionality (creating engines that work just like in the real world) and challenging (to give Technic creators the most rewarding build experience possible).

LEGO is a line of plastic construction toys manufactured by the Lego Group, a privately held company based in Billund, Denmark. LEGO consists of variously colored interlocking plastic bricks made of acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) that accompany an array of gears, figurines called minifigures, and various other parts. LEGO pieces can be assembled and connected in many ways to construct objects, including vehicles, buildings, and working robots. Assembled LEGO models can be taken apart, and their pieces reused to create all new constructions.

The LEGO Group began manufacturing the interlocking toy bricks in 1949. It is one of Europe's biggest companies, and LEGO is the largest toy manufacturer in the world by sales. As of July 2015, 600 billion LEGO parts had been produced.
