Sanguinius breaks out the heavy stuff…

Nice tanks. I love tanks. Were there death company in times of HH? Maybe not. Still awesome.

The Spartan can be used in current 40K. The Glaive on the other hand I don’t think it does. I thought there was not suppose to be any Volkite in 40K.

The glaive was a countas as Hellhammer I believe. He just liked the barrel better 🙂

According to the wiki..the 1st and 18th legions still use them in the 41st millennium. Could the 9th have one or two on Baal secondus? Why not

      • Benderisgreat

They never substantially explained why not. Hell, even conversion beamers have made a comeback.

The Thirst started in 30k yes.

      • Orblivion

Death Company is Black Rage, not Red Thirst.

    • Orblivion

Not the version we know if in 40k. The Red Thirst existed in 30k, but was extremely rare. Any Blood Angels that fell to it at the time were mercy-killed by Sanguinius himself and were collectively referred to as the “company of death”.

40k’s Death Company are Blood Angels who have fallen to the Black Rage, which did not exist until Sanguinius’ death.

Those Blood Angel fellows are so nice! They drove around my barn with their big Tanks…

More like: “Get off my lawn with yer bloody red tractors, yer bloody gits!” – last words of the late Farmer Willis

Hey look at that. My tanks made it up here. The Glaive is a counts-as Fellblade. Sadly, there were no Death Company riding around in that Spartan (as they usually do). It’s actually quite amusing, as when I run the Spartan empty in my local area everyone still steers clear of it because they’re trained that if they get close, Death Company jump out and punch them in the nether regions.

so this is what its like… when doves cry

Beautiful tanks. Shame the barn is obscuring the Sicarians.
