Tabletop Gallery: Something on the Wing

Gremlins learned very quickly to avoid trying to tamper with Ork planes. If they saw something on the wing…they’d come looking for a fight.

Enjoy. If you have an awesome wargames shot you think would make a great BoLS pic of the day, email us. We love spectacle and characterful shots so lets see what you budding photographers can do! Warhammer 40,000, Age of Sigmar, X-Wing, Warmachine/Hordes, Runewars, Bolt Action, Armada & Flames of War miniatures photos are welcome.

Orks need a flying Lord of War. Like a looted Thunderhawk or a Ramma Killa DroppaCraft. basically a LOW drop pod that can fit 100 Orks.

      I think you’re thinking of a “Rok”.

      • SilentPony

My read of a Rok is similar to that of a Imperator or Ordinatus – simply too big to put on the battlefield.
You fight on/in them, not with them.
A Rok is basically an asteroid, and it can fit dozens of MegaGargants in them. Like to me a to scale Rok would be the size of a GW store compared to a tabletop Marine.

          Fine, then a Meteork

It’d work! capacity of 100, meganobz/bikes/stormboyz count as 2, gorka/morkanauts count as 10, deff dreads as 5, stompas as 25
            BS 5+, WS -, S/T 10, A -, W 20, 3+, 6++
with gunz and dakkas as upgrades.

      1) Get some cheap aircraft toys/kits at the local dollar store.

      2) Cut off the wings, and engines. ESPECIALLY the engines.

      3) Glue them onto a stompa.

      4)Add more dakka

5)Replace the stompa’s arms with battlewagons.

      6)Add more Dakka.

      7) Add more dakka

      8)Job’s a good un’
