Who is the Best 8th Ed Faction Chaos or Imperium – Chapter Tactics


Today two top 10 ITC players argue why their super faction is in fact the best 40k faction in 8th edition.

Chapter Tactics is a 40k podcast which focuses on promoting better tactical play and situational awareness across all variations of the game. Today PeteyPab covers the results of a tournament whose top 5 players had an average of 556.64 ITC points each! He also brings on two top 10 players in the ITC to argue why their super faction is in fact the best 40k faction in 8th edition.

    Neither. Eldar and Tyranids both have s-tier game against both. Right now the codex factions are pretty even in power level; there have just been more Imperium and Chaos codices than other armies to this point. But we still have Tau, Necrons, Drukhari, Harlequins, Genestealer Cults and Orks on the way.

      I cannot wait for the Ork codex. Given what the Nids got, I have high hopes that they can give some good tools to an army that has a strong base.

    Honestly, if we’re talking of “Imperium” and “Chaos” as singular factions in the same vein as Orks or Necrons, there’s a problem. Soup is far too permissive in 8th.
