PLAY-AID: Adeptus Arbites Mini-dex from BoLS

2 Minute Read
Nov 10 2008
Warhammer 40K

Hi Everybody,

As promised, the Adeptus Arbites are HERE! The playtesters are all playtested out, the proofreader’s eyes are sore and we’ve pored our all into this one. Within this 22 page mini-dex you will find:

  • Background
  • Modeling section
  • Army List
  • 3 Special Characters (including an Arbites opposition character)
  • Apocalypse Datasheet
  • Lots of cool fluff and Arbites diagrams

It has been an absolute blast working on this list and tweaking it for maximum fun. Hopefully it will get some of those old dusty Arbitrator minis off of the shelves and back onto the tabletop where they belong. This is a newly invisioned list based on the fluff we could gather from a variety of sources and a little creative license. It also offers homages to the Citadel Journal list and the fan list put out in the days of yore by Precinct Omega.

It is primarily an infantry list that starts slow but ends big, with a focus on a few 5th Edition rules mechanics we don’t see that often on the tabletop.

On the modeling front, a couple of things to note: Ebay is agreat source for old 2nd Edition Arbites, and you can order squads of Arbites Enforcers right now from the GW site in the Specialist Games section under Necromunda. For those vehicle enthusiants: 1Whirlwind+1Chimera=1 Arbites Rhino+1Black Maria. Finally, don’t forget about putting the final touches on your Precinct House forces with the BoLS Arbites logosheet.

~I hope all you Arbites fans have some fun with these. Enjoy and as usual, we love comments and feedback! What I think I enjoy most of all is the flexibility these PDFs give us. While we endeaver ot playtest the heck out of these things, they really are living documents. So enjoy, and by all means keep the feedback and comment coming. We really do read them!

FAQ Update: Both the Repressor and Chimera listed in the minidex are based off of the Imperial Armor Volume:1 Errata released from Forgeworld in November 2008.
