  • piglette

I wonder how awesome a Victorian steampunk skirmish game would be from GW.

  • neshta

Geez! Their really holding off on the Dwarf balloon dudes! I’m beginning to think they don’t exist! They’re in the picture right there! Just release them dammit!

    • Cylux

They’ve still got two characters and the balloon guys to go so I’d assume they’re the last weeks release.

    • Shawn

just get one of the plastic dwarves and tie a real balloon to him, if you can’t wait. čśë

  • Hendrik Booraem VI

Kharadron overlord clearly has power armor and a chainsword… will their rules be added to the 8th edition Galactic Handbook?

    • ZeeLobby

      Commissar’s Dataslate

  • Badgerboy1977

Seriously love those servohaulers, just brilliant.
Also can’t get enough of the Kharadron overlords, great aesthetic.

    • AEZ

Lovely to play around, but hard to play on. But after you have a lot of other terrain to really play on this might be the topping.

  • PlasmaCow

wow, where’d the Galvanic Servohaulers appear from? never saw any rumours or leaks of that, lovely looking kit.

  • ZeeLobby

Got a box of the kharadron troopers. Think im going to use them as mechanical automoton for some of my more rpgish games. The servohaulers are amazing.

    • Hawt Dawg

Al Pachino in The Godfather part 3?

  • Sonic tooth

i know im going against the grain here but i dont care, those new dwarf guys are just too futuristic looking for the setting

    • Adam Parrott

I’m going to have to agree with you. Don’t get me wrong, I like the models and would love to have some to paint and game with … just not exactly for AOS. I’m struggling with liking the fluff of AOS in the first place. These dudes don’t help. Maybe, I’m letting my love for Dwarves of the old cliche type get in the way. I always wanted to start a Dwarf army, but never got around to it.

      • Sonic tooth

elves (all 3 types) are my thing so im dreading what theyre going to do with them. unlike others im a bit wary of this rumored “Cthulhu” elves thing.

        • Shawn

They’ll just be mindflayers with pointed ears!

          • euansmith

            Yes please!

    • georgelabour

Alternatively you could consider your view of what a fantasy setting can be as to narrow minded.

Personally I think they’re skirting territory that blends things like World of Aden (AKA thunderscape), Exalted, Final Fantasy 6, and He-man rather than merely cobbling on bits from D&D and Tolkien.

But to each their own. After all, it’s your fantasy right?

      • Sonic tooth

you could have just said “get over it” without being condescending.

        • georgelabour

When I want to be condescending instead of merely presenting an opposing viewpoint I will take your words under advisement.

          So…get over it? =^.^=

  • Adam Parrott

I’m wondering how big that Grombrindal model is. On the US store, it says it has a 25mm base. If so and not a typo, that’s one small model.

    • Adam Parrott

      Am I missing something?

      • Ben_S

I’ve not checked, but might it be a choice of the display base shown or a 25mm gaming base for just the actual dwarf?

        • Ben_S

“Grombrindal … stands atop a scenic base packed with detail … This model is also supplied with a 25mm round base.”

Sounds like I was probably right.

          • Adam Parrott

            I missed that, thanks.

  • georgelabour

Is that one Dwarf painting the ship while firing a gun?

Also, where were the rumor mongers with those servo haulers? You’d think GW’s first utility vehicle models in the last 20 years would have been worth mentioning.

  • Golden Yak

Lookin’ good, WD! Lookin’ real good!

  • david

Pity those Servitors on the huge rig were not released.See bottom left http://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/7a5d49a6cdb3127852668c7f6960b972470ea2fb7d57ffe05d672973a2a21bf5.jpg

    • euansmith

Maybe they just haven’t been released yet (fingers crossed)? The Servo-haulers came unannounced out of left field, maybe these guys will come out too?

Alternatively, I guess they could be kit bashed from Kataphron Battle Servitors, or Electro-priests and some 1/72nd scale tank hulls.

      • Stealthbadger

Look like the ad mech kataphrons with a servitor torso on ‘backwards’ to me.

    • georgelabour

It looks like a modified Kataphron destroyer. At least from what I can see in the picture you posted.

  • blackbloodshaman

    squats are back

  • euansmith

I like the latest set of bases, and the Servo-haulers looks like they could form the basis of all sorts of exploration vehicles for Inquisitor games.
