I have to say that GW is really doing a good job with these painting tutorial videos. Its a great introduction for beginners and hits technical skills such as drybrushing, decals and masking as they go through them.  BRAVO GW!

~Have at it.

Been waiting for Duncan ‘Ladies Man’ Rhodes to grace us with his painting tutorials for AoS … Best and most useful videos IMO by GW.

    • Matthew

Agreed… they are not paying this guy enough.

  • Oza

Seen the ones for the khorne units and on closer inspection they look terrible. Apart from the rubbish names “bloodsecrator” and so on, did no one realise a bone blade axe is utterly useless for chopping? Who designs these thing? Stormcast units are great but GW needs to cut down on skulls and bones.

    • Razer Free

You know GW designers get bone(r)s from skulls, right? There’s no lack of skulls in Fantasy AND 40K.

    • AircoolUK

Don’t forget the Khorne bunny ears. I always chop those things off.

    • Read, and be enlightened (then spend the next eight hours wandering from pothole to pothole thinking “just one more click…” the entire time, because tvtropes): http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/RuleOfCool

    • Blackfel

My Dark Eldar Archon laughs at you as he cuts down another foe with his huskblade.

      • Oza

That’s different. Huskblades work by “evaporating the moisture from everything they touch leaving only dust-like figures if used against living beings”.

Good videos, but I’ll probably replace the gold with silver when it comes to my Stormcasts.

    • AKOF

That would look pretty wicked, I think.

    • Shawn

I was thinking the same thing crusader

  • euansmith

That’s a fun looking new Chaplain mini at the top of the page.

  • dinodoc

That pic at the top of that page isn’t really helping to dispel the Sigmarine meme going around.

    • Shawn

I think that’s on purpose dinodoc, so it will appeal to 40k players, and also, since 40k is successful I believe they think that will appeal more to people in general that the old historical feel of fantasy.

  • Luciferiel

I want to see a blooper reel, for when he messes something up.
