GMM SHOWCASE: Heresy Era Iron Hands Clan Lachesis

cg1

Hello BoLS readers! I’m back with another one, this time some Iron Hands with a homebrew twist.

I love homemade chapters especially with a lot of background, and he had written tons of great backstory for this army. Too much to post here, but Clan Lachesis is an Iron Hands heresy era subchapter with a Greek flair.  Lots of cybernetics, each marine is unique not only in pose but in bits.  Tons of extra heads, arms, and other accessories were ordered before assembly to add a unique character to the army. The best armies start in assembly, and I want every single marine to have character, and seem “caught in action.” in the photography.  The color scheme is a mix of ghostly feel and computer board green.

The photography terrain was custom made for the army as well, and I will be covering this in future articles, so stay tuned!  For now, here’s a few overview images of the army to get it started.  See you next time for more in depth coverage and close ups!

  • Froggars .

Cool, Emperor’s Children & Sons of Horus with wrong Symbols.

    • When in doubt, it’s probably a homebrew Legion.

  • Talos2

Heresy era chapters? You mean legion?

    • denzark

Some of the Legion’s sub-units are called chapters in HH.

      • Talos2

Thought that was only ultra smurfs

        • CMAngelos

Nah it was prevalent in the Word Bearers and many other legions as well. Linda went Legion -> Chapter -> Company so on.

  • euansmith

That’s a cool looking army and an amazing backdrop.

More pics of the models and less of the scenery would have been great.
