We’re going to cover the event as well so be sure to check back all weekend for more great stuff. For now, Forge World has at least had some teasers as to what is going to be available:

Here at BoLS we’re pretty excited about this weekend. One of the biggest releases is the new Custodes Caldius Grav-Tank. I can’t wait to see what else Forge World has in store and I’m also pumped to see what else the Custodes are going to be fielding in the future!

I’m trying not to get my hopes up – but fingers crossed!

  • Talos2

Struggling to come up with a valid even half reasonable excuse to include custodes with my night lords. Lol. Quite tricky. Maybe I could say they were attacked whilst the custodes were punishing them for some perceived crime and so joined forces.

    • Rainthezangoose

Do as i will do with my night lords. Pre-Heresy.

Even if your opponent is a legion. Pre-Heresy. DON’T ASK QUESTIONS

      • Talos2

Even then they were criminals and scum, not sure custodes would be anywhere near them

        • The_Illusionist

The Custodes go where they are told to go, because their orders come from the Emperor alone. They might not enjoy it or like the forces they’re with, but they WILL serve to the best of their considerable ability. =)

    • Mr_Pickles

i’d say they’re still pushing the Great Cursade, out on the boundries of known space. Totally removed from the HH that has been brewing/starting.

    • Red_Five_Standing_By

Maybe you command a loyalist branch of the Night Lords?

      • Talos2

        They don’t look very loyal

        • Xodis

          Chaos Camouflage lol

    • Alpharius

It’s super early in the Crusade when Kurze was the Punisher/Batman? Custodians kept tabs on stuff in the Sol System, Night Lords would be the Legion to call for punitive strikes. The Custodians discovered some treachery and called in the final solution.

    • euansmith

Maybe just treat them as some sort of super venerable veteran Nightlords; maybe called Shadow Guardians or something. I think the Custodes would look great in a dark, dark blue paintjob with bright glowing power weapons.

  • Bullocks! 😉

  • Shinnentai

Feels like that grav tank needs a couple of large sculpted aquilas at each of its prows – at the moment it doesn’t quite tie in with the elaborate Custodes armour well enough.

    • Kritarion

Agree. It looks like a Tau-vehicle atm.

    • Red_Five_Standing_By

Like the Jetbikes. Two big, beefy eagles!

  • Jo Go

Love the new Tau hammerhead 😉

  • Red_Five_Standing_By

I really kind of want to make a Custodes Army…

  • Alpharius

Damn, with the base in the picture that hover tank is f’in huge! Maybe it will have a transport capacity after all?

  • Ruadhan

I really like the new hover-tank. I’ve always liked the Legion hover-tech vibe, those smooth but undeniably human lines are really cool.

I would have thought we’d see a lot more surface detail though…
Maybe some eagle figureheads on each forward prong or something.
But I just know we’re going to see some amazing freehand painting being done on those large surfaces!

  • Xodis

Really hate all the Warhammer World exclusives, seriously tired of having to pay someones rent to get some neat stuff. Whatever happened to “Free gift when you spend this much” or something at least achievable?

  • PrehistoricUF0

New Custodes hover tank is gorgeous, can’t wait to get mines!
