Codex Imperial Agents: Sororitas Detachments &…

sisters-of-battle-horz-blanche

BoLS will be bringing you Codex Imperial Agents coverage all week. Today we peek inside the cover at Sororitas organization and relics.

The Adepta Sororitas are BACK! After years in the dark, and decades without new models the Sisters of Battle are back with righteous vengeance. This is an army with two different incarnations in Codex Imperial Agents and they are bringing a lot of old friends with them. More on this most non-standard of codexes in the days ahead.

60030108010_imperialagentscodexeng01

What we will say is the GW Design Studio has taken a fundamentally different approach with this codex.  This is a book that brings as much stuff as it leaves behind.  By that I mean for every new force in this book, there are some very unusual absences and hints at what may be coming in the future.  This is a book with 9 new armies and not a single new miniature.  You’ll find a lot of old friends long left out in the cold given a new lease on life, and new unexpected ways of fielding armies that already have standalone codexes alongside other Imperial organizations.

Before we dive into today’s peek at the Sororitas, you can take a look at their army special rules here. Ok, let’s go!

First up we said yesterday that the army is a mix of old and new, so we are showing you two units. one should be a surprise to no one, and the other has been “drafted” by the Ecclesiarchy to go after the heretics alongside the Sisters:

ai-sor-203

Battle Sisters Squad – it does exactly what it says on the box… bolter? – CHECK, bob? – CHECK – MOVE OUT!

ia-sor-204

Death Cults are now in the armylist.  It’s nice to see these gals back in the thick of it, stabbing the heretics every chance they get.  These ladies live in mortal terror of massed bolter fire, but 15pts isn’t too shabby for 2 WS5 I6 Power weapon attacks. I like the max squad size of 10, and the transport options!

Ok, moving on, let’s take a look at the TWO Adepta Sororitas detachments we mentioned earlier.

ai-sor-202

Say hello to the Ministorum Delegation and the Vestal Task Force.  When you want just a smidge of Sisters for flavor in your army, go with the Delegation.  Grab yourself the mandatory Priest and back him up with you choice of a single unit chosen from: Repentia, Sisters Command Squad, Arco-Flagellants, Crusaders, DCAs or Celestians.  The Vestal Task force is the full monty, for those who want an entire Sororitas army.  That retro-chic CAD should give you all the space you need to put the heretics to the flame.

Finally let’s take a look at one sample relic.  All the old Sororitas classics are in here (St. Aspira’s tailors really got around), and the skull pulping Mace of Valaan is fairly fun one to share granting Fleshbane/Armorbane when within 6″ of Daemons.

Codex: Imperial Agents $40

60030108010_imperialagentscodexeng01

While the Imperium draws great advantage from the unbelievable weight of manpower it can bring to bear, the diversity of its military is its greatest strength. Many, many esoteric factions are expected to answer the call to protect humanity, from the arcane Adeptus Mechanicus, to the merciless, psychically-gifted Grey Knights and all in between.

60030108010_imperialagentscodexeng03

The forces of the Imperium are myriad and distinct, but all follow the Emperor’s divine will – through this common goal, they strive to ensure the continued if fraught survival of Mankind.

60030108010_imperialagentscodexeng02

This 136-page full-colour Codex presents background and rules for a number of smaller Imperial factions, whose forces fight alongside other armies of the Emperor. Use the rules, datasheets, wargear and detachments included to add members of the following operatives to any army of the Imperium:

– A full army list for the Battle Sisters of the Adepta Sororitas
– Tech-Priest Enginseers and Servitors of the Adeptus Mechanicus
– Valkyries of the Aeronautica Imperialis
– Battle Psykers and Astropaths of the Astra Telepathica
– Priests of the Adeptus Ministorum
– Kill Teams and Corvus Blackstars of the Deathwatch
– Terminator Squads and Nemesis Dreadknights of the Grey Knights
– The Legion of the Damned
– Assassins of the Officio Assassinorum
– Inquisitors of the Inquisition

~Have fun folks, and check back all week for more Imperial Agents faction reviews and more.

  • malchos

So basically Deathcult Assassins have to spend 1 whole turn out in the open, with 5+ and 5++, and T3, before they can charge something.

So no more Crusaders and Ministorum Priest support.

Or am I missing something here?

    • BT

I don’t see anything where you couldn’t attach a Terminator HQ from a Allied fraction to tank for them. Sure, no sweeping assaults, but that doesn’t seem to be your concern. I suggest a Terminator Libby and a 8 woman squad to fit in a rhino and get buffs. Maybe see if your libby can take a force axe so you have something to deal with AP 2 armor.

      • foulestfeesh13 .

Rhinos can’t transport anything with the bulky special rule which you get if your in terminator armour.

        • malchos

So, I’m not missing anything yet? 🙂

          • foulestfeesh13 .

That reply was for BT who suggested putting 8 in a Rhino with a Terminator Libraian.

          • Penfold Berry

Stick an inquisitor in and the power to give them a 3++

      • Severius_Tolluck

In addition to what everyone else said, cant share transports.

        • Inquisitor Valeria

If you’re an IC, you can.

          • James Eggers

Per the new FAQs, battle brothers cannot start inside a different faction’s transports (DTs or otherwise). So the IC would have to embark into the transport turn 1; but then the rhino can only move 6″ on that turn due to loading/unloading rules.

          • Inquisitor Valeria

Eh… yep. ‘Can’t deploy in another faction’s transport’ is a whole different sentence fragment from “can(‘)t share transports,” though. As the comment is in reply to someone suggesting adding an HQ to a squad, you can see how ‘but you can’t then put them in the same tank’ might be incorrectly inferred.

    • Munn

There’s a formation that makes the battle conclave do what it did before only now you have to waste a detachment slot on it in most comp systems.

    • Mr.psyker

I would bring both detachments in one force…

      HQ-Uriah Jacobus

-makes shield of faith a 5++ so you are getting a priest with shield of faith that can join a battle sisters squad with Uriah and pop off two war hymns to get the offensive and defensive benefits. The priest is now 5++ making him better for getting the mace of valaan off in challenges.

    • Jagi Helmet

The DCA’s are still better off as inquisitor henchmen with crusader bullet catchers and an =I= vehicle to ride in

  • Rainthezangoose

Also metal sisters in the book is not a good sign for anybody.

    • Randy Randalman

Metal Sisters are in the book because they haven’t released the plastics yet (and won’t for some time).

      • Munn

So they release an army list that replaces the Codex by actually making it significantly worse than an already poor codex. Sisters are dead, they should just let us die with dignity.

        • Talos2

Welcome to the world of an ork player

          • Advachiel

I’m pretty sure Orks are doing ok by comparison

          • Talos2

They replaced a weak codex with an even worse one was the point. But I wouldn’t bet on it

        • OldHat

They aren’t dead. Stop whining. Give them time to release a proper Codex next year. Rumors are it will be an 8th Ed release too. This is not a new Sisters Codex, this is for people who want to splash in Imperial factions to their army.

          • Teresa

Except GW specifically said this is the SoB codex.

Also the rumour of them getting an 8th ed dex also spoke about them being in the 8th ed box instead of Marines.
So we know straight off the bat how reliable that rumour is.

          • OldHat

It is… for now. They will get a new one when they get a full release, I am guessing. But feel free to stay salty.

          • No, GW has specifically said this would be a *full army list* for the SoB, which it is. Not that this is the final codex form.

          • Teresa

‘The Imperial Agents book presents a revised and updated version of the Adepta Sororitas army list. It is indeed intended to replace the digital version.’

To debate this any further because the specific word ‘codex’ wasn’t used is just splitting hairs.
This is, for all intents and purpose, the SoB codex as of Saturday, 17/12/2016

      • petrow84

“Book of Faith: Once in every week before the release period you can pray for plastic sisters. Upon success nothing happens. Upon failure you must put the nearest Adepta Sororitas army to your current position up to the Ebay.”

    • Tiberius

Yeah this is the first thing that occurred to me too. Doesn’t that basically confirm that plastic sisters aren’t happening? If they were happening later why wouldn’t you hold the book back with them.

      • Shinnentai

Because GW wanted a low investment release to fill the 40k product schedule until the next edition hits. That’s when plastic sisters come in with a codex of their own. Optimism 101.

        • Penfold Berry

I predict a sad year for you lol

        • OldHat

^ This guy gets it. The pessimism here when GW basically said “plastic Sisters” before releasing a Primarch (!!!), on top of this years GSC release, is unreal. How about be patient for that rumored Q1 or Q2 release? GW is clearly giving players what they want, how about we be willing to wait for them?

          • SilentPony

….they didn’t they were doing plastic sisters. A dude in a trashcan said “Oh look, plastic battle sisters”
We didn’t see any models, any kits, artwork, nothing. Just some dude made a joke. And everyone went “AAAHHH! GW said words! That’s a legally binding contract!! AAAAAHHH”

          • Severius_Tolluck

Because it was an insult. For an army who bulk of models are from 1996, who had a last printed codex since 2003, are constantly made fun of by GW in their own fluff….. Like GK’s anointing themselves in the blood of Sisters. It is out of hand. Then they joke and say oh look sisters of battle are in the trash!
They then oh look, stop gap, let’s give them what they want, but not. As they nerfed sisters further down, aside from the DC assassins in a rhino.
It is also insulting if they go in only a few months invalidate even this book with yet another one, instead of just releaseing models now. They thought a single resin model would appease us, and of course that model is clearly old and been sitting on the shelf until they had a “rainy day” to test the waters of the market. Which was even insulting that they had such a small print run, it sold out in less than 3 minutes online.

          • OldHat

“It is also insulting if they go in only a few months invalidate even this book with yet another one, instead of just releaseing models now. Oh my god, thank you CEO of GW. I am so glad you come here to BoLS to post this insider info.

How about you stop projecting your entitlements? GW doesn’t owe you a Sisters Codex and this release is clearly just something to give players options. Quit crying and bide your time until a proper release inevitably happens.

And it wasn’t a “small print run” – they confirmed it would later be available on the webstore beyond the LE release.

          • Severius_Tolluck

There is no entitlement. Never said I knew how to run their business. I bet you if any army you played for nearly two decades was treated the same way, you would be upset. If they decide to just get rid of Marines. CSM players at least got some new love after a long frustrating set of years not getting legions. Wasn’t groundbreaking but it was something. I am just saying to tell others to suck it, is not nice to tell someone to suck it. It was insulting, to a customer base to mock them to their faces by jokes on a youtube video. Now there very well could be a release in January, or when 8th ed comes out. However if this ends up invalidating anything previous, it would be a slap.

          • OldHat

They didn’t tell you to suck it. They threw you a bone, but you were too jilted to notice.

And bro, I play Knights. I had one Codex go invalid not long after its release. I know GW can be crappy, but it is nothing to get too worked up over. I get that Sisters have been neglected, but so were Dark Eldar. So were Harlies. It happens. Give them time to do it right and I have no doubt it will be worth the wait.

          • Severius_Tolluck

Then maybe use that tone first before telling people to stop whinging.

          • Severius_Tolluck

sorry, did not mean to come off crass. Just I guess got defensive. You are right, it is a stop gap, and hopefully things will eventually be updated.

          • OldHat

No biggie. I do think that, given how often we heard over the years that production was an issue, we might see them now because at long last their production ability can match difficult models. Look at the last year’s releases. They are up to it now, for sure. Plus, that new Canoness gives me hope.

          • Severius_Tolluck

Very much, it looks nice, pretty dead on to the concept art. Means the iconic look will more or less stay intact. Yeah for sure about the production, since everything went back to “dynamic pose” robes should not be an excuse anymore. Especially after what they shown with new wyches and skitarri

          • OldHat

In a spoiler for a Primarch (something no one ever expected from GW), teasing how they found the product in the trash and then say they saw Sisters and you are ready to dismiss it as a joke? Feel free, but you are also ignoring a lot of rumors pointing to a plastic Sisters release. Probably not a coincidence. No one said it was legally binding, but some of us have a bit of common sense and know to be patient for GW to do releases.

          • SilentPony

Plastic Sisters rumors have been around for a decade. That’s why its a joke.
What they did is the equivalent of Gabe walking on stage and just saying the number 3 over and over.

          • OldHat

And you are entitled to your opinion. The difference now is that GW is actually teasing things and showing videos and doing unexpected things. Did you expect GSC? Ever? A Primarch? Yea, no one did. Plastic Sisters, even as an off-hand comment, is a good indicator. I wouldn’t be so dismissive (and am not, obviously).

          • SilentPony

Uh yeah. Yeah I totally expected Primarchs. They released rules for daemon Angron a few years back, Epic had daemon Primarchs, and up until like last year they still sold the old Rogue Trader Leman Russ on the store!

And its entirely possible the crazy man in the trashcan was talking about that horrible new Canoness model.

You know what would be different? If the 8th edition boxset was beastmen vs squats. That’s something no one expects.

          • OldHat

I am calling BS on that. No one expected 40k-scale Primarchs, nor did they expect Deathwatch or GSC, either. Even Harlies were a pleasant surprise (emphasis, surprise).

And you really must not get context – the trashcan thing was important, since that was what spawned the original Magnus teaser – GW did that video as a spoiler after the busted box was found. Remember? Context is everything. I highly doubt it was just some tongue-in-cheek passing comment without any roots in a serious future release (that correlates with the rumor mill currently too).

          • SilentPony

No, YOU didn’t expect 40k Primarchs. Some of us have been here long enough to remember the other Primarchs they’ve done.

Magnus is the first one to get a model(if you don’t count Russ, and the Epic models) I’ll grant you that. But he’s not the first one to have rules. Primarchs have been in 40k for awhile.

          • OldHat

Give me a break. You expected them. Uh-huh. That Leman Russ was 20 years old and they never, ever even hinted at the idea. And Primarchs have not “been in 40k awhile”. They exist in the fluff, but NOT as models (which is my point).

    • Moonsaves

To be fair, they showed the old crappy Bloodthirster in Hour of the Wolf not long before the new ones came out.

    • Victor Hartmann

I take it as a sign that GW took the easiest path possible for this release and just used whatever they already had on hand.

      • OldHat

They consolidated a ton of digital stuff and published it in a single book with a few new tidbits. Makes it accessible.

  • Painjunky

Deathcult assassins are what DE wyches SHOULD have been.

Actually if this is what a loser Mon-keigh is capable of DE wyches should be FAR more powerful.

That’s only if fluff matters on the table… and we all know it doesn’t .

    • Julien Huguenin

You mean an unplayable unit like the Wyches ? xD

At least DE have open topped transports…Those flimsy assassins won’t ever see the light of a close combat.

    • J Mad

Harlequins are what Wyches should be………. If you wanted to play Venom Spam wyches, literally play harlequins.

  • Maitre Lord Ironfist

As stand alone this is interresting. But what we need is this: How can we combine this with valkyries? Priest + repentia in it can cause seriius trubble. Will the specific inq detatchment(s?) turn specific factions into agents or allow then too use valkyries?

    • Severius_Tolluck

No, as the main FAQ now states you can not share transports anymore. So that detachment is pretty darn confusing as is.

  • Nyyppä

Oh come on. These need to be cheaper. Marines are still the base point for comparison and the ATSKNF alone is enough to drop the cost for a squad of 5 to that 60p. Lower stats should drop it further still.

    • Penfold Berry

2 points cheaper, potential for bigger squads, and preferred enemy for one turn with 3+ armour, yes they are weaker but you forget that spesh marines are GW’s golden seller, they need to be the best

      • Nyyppä

Oh, I did not forget. I just think that it does not have to be so.

      • MadCowCrazy

SM Scout 4 on all stats Sv4+, ATSKNF, Combat Squads and Scout = 11pts
Battle Sisters BS4, 3 on rest with Sv3+ 6++ and Preferred enemies one turn per game (same as combat tactics) = 12pts
Dominion, same as Battle Sisters but have scout = 13pts

So a Sv3+ 6++ is worth 1pt more than +1WS/S/T/I and Scout? Heck 2pts more if you give the Sisters Scout which makes even less sense…

  • BT

I am surprised that the DCA has a max 10 squad size, when it screams to me 15 for a ‘no transport’ option. The minimum of 2 is also weird to me. Are they just suppose to be a total fluff unit used as bodyguards (or two extra wounds) for a Inquisitor?

    • Yout Elling

I think its because they are/were sold in pairs.

      • Penfold Berry

I imagine the new box will sell in either 4’s with a 2 mini booster box (like the three tactical marines booster) or 5’s

  • Fremenknight

So much of this seems phoned in to me. I can only hope this is a holdover for a short duration. I must keep faith yet again.

    • Severius_Tolluck

Let us hope and I will keep using the digital only codex. As this is some what insulting, especially if new books are within 6 months time, heck less than a year even.

  • Maitre Lord Ironfist

As stand alone this is interresting. But what we need is this: How can we combine this with valkyries? Priest + repentia in it can cause seriius trubble. Will the specific inq detatchment(s?) turn specific factions into agents or allow then too use valkyries?

    • Penfold Berry

I imagine anything in the agents codex can use valkeries so deathwatch in valkeries from that book only not the full codex

      • Maitre Lord Ironfist

maybe, or the INq detachment gives specific Factions “Agents of the Imperium” – Like: HQ -0 – 3 elite , if you Inq is Ordo Heareticus all units from Adepta Sororitas (in this Codex) become Imperial Agents in addition too their former Faction. Then the Inq gives Valkyres AoT Faction and you can only do this for one Faction in your Army. If this is in there i would be absolutly fine and the book becomes way better. Field Sororitas with Inq and add 1 Deathwatch or GK into it. But only SoB can start in Valkyries – this is just what i wish for, maybe it happens like this x) It woudl make sense x)

  • Yout Elling

Ok so this is just a joke from GW right? That FOC is absolute GARBAGE. Id rather take obsec any day of the week than a taxed Elite and “reroll savs of 1 once per game”.

    • Munn

Yeah, there’s literally 0 reason to ever take this detachment.

EDIT: Holy spit, a mandatory elite? The elite slot is GARBAGE in a sisters army, WHO WROTE THIS POS!

      • Reven

They also moved things into the elite slot like the Command Squad and DCAs

  • Edouard Decaen

Battle Sisters ? Nope, Sisters of Battle please

  • Frenzy

After years of waiting for an update here it is, annnnnddd its worse than before oh joy and with no new models.

    • Shinnentai

Hey! Don’t exaggerate! There’s ONE new model!

    • William Jameson

Same as every digital update that came before it then.
And instead of nerfing Celestine yet again they just removed her from the force. 🙁

    • OldHat

This isn’t your new Codex, this is a low-key placeholder. Just be patient. Sheesh.

    • Valeli

      One new model!

Look at you, complain complain complain.
      <.<;

But um… yeah. I can't tell from this article, but if that "one turn per game, reroll ones" replaced the old faith stuff or the more recent 6++, the whole thing is pretty strictly worse.

I don't know why GW would put this book out now, and then a second that alters SoB stats out in the near future. It seems like it wouldn't make any sense, which makes me thing that the stats and points are staying static, if nothing else.

      I dunno. One can hope.

    • Severius_Tolluck

As always, less models even. As they keep trimming named characters away.

  • Munn

Turns out everyone who thought GW was a dogs**t company was totally correct.

    • OldHat

Yea, because the 1k Sons release, the GSC release, and so many other amazing kits and stuff this year have been just crap, amirite? This is clearly a safe, low-priority release meant for people to splash in some Imperial flavor to existing armies and use models that might not have had rules. Why is everyone here whining so much about this release?

      • disqus_CktyL7rKWJ

haha, you think you’re being ironic 😉

        • OldHat

Yes, it is called sarcasm. You new to the internet?

  • Droth

Looks kinda meh so far. I was hoping Battle Sisters would be made a bit cheaper. They’re nowhere near as strong as Space Marines on the tabletop. Taking a Ministorum Delegation to get some Priests for your Marines sounds good though.

The Force Org is also a let down, especially with that mandatory Elites slot as what’s shown here suggests the elites will still be rubbish.

Splitting the Battle Conclave into three ‘new’ units doesn’t feel like a good move to me. Crusaders can tank hits but don’t do much damage, and Death Cultists are the opposite. Arco-Flagellants have never done much for me – they bounce off power armour and are slow so most are dead before they can strike against hordes, but they could bulk out numbers if you wanted in the old system.

    • Maitre Lord Ironfist

“Taking a Ministorum Delegation to get some Priests for your Marines sounds good though.” – If Jacobus is a Priest for this Detachment – Stick him into GK Paladins. This would be the fluffies skullfucker Unit is can imagin (with landraider ofc)

      • Severius_Tolluck

except, he can not go in a shared vehicle, so no land raider.

        • Maitre Lord Ironfist

that would make no sense then x)

          • Severius_Tolluck

            Exactly!

          • Maitre Lord Ironfist

plz GW FAQ this for this Codex, the Moment we can use valkyries for SoB and LR for Inquisition everything will be way more smooth 🙂

(i still dream about throwing Repentia on a Imperial Knight from a valkyrie)

  • Shinnentai

Looking forward to a week’s worth of comment pages lamenting at how bad this all is XD

    • Maitre Lord Ironfist

or it is reavelead how this all works together with Inquisitions Dudes and suddenly it is the most awesome thing ever too exist (it will not happen, but imagine how everything explodes 😀 )

      • Shinnentai

What you mean is that the complaints would then switch over to how it’s all overpowered and imbalanced 😉

        • Maitre Lord Ironfist

that would`ve been so funny, but will not happen i fear :,D

      • 301stFeinminsterArmoured

Catgirl DCAs for the win? Priest is all the tax you need.

  • Old zogwort

Whoo thank you for showing us these things : )

  • Old zogwort

Those 30pt assassin squads sure are fun. Just hide them behind something, and be sure to scare the none close combat stuff away.

  • Gabor Fazekas

Battle Squad havent changed, melee units are pointless without a normal assault transport (if i want DCA than i rather run Banshees on a funny Avatar-Aspect setup eldar), If rest is unchanged or minimally it would not be worse but wont be better either so its a meh

  • Victor Hartmann

After several good to excellent releases from GW, this is massively disappointing. At least based on the rumors so far. There needs to be a whole lot of awesome yet to be revealed to turn this around.

  • Graham Bartram

Thankfully for me, my interest in this book is not about sisters but I do appreciate the frustration amongst sisters players and those who have boxes on the shelf hoping they would be worth playing again. I had hoped that this release would be better for you and maybe, just maybe I would have got a tax free way of adding some transports to my Ad-Mech too. Looks like a bit of a missed opportunity so far. I’ll be interested to see how the Inquisition will work, maybe that’ll help. :/

Even if you could, due to FAQ, can not share allies transports. So if it is not from your CAD, not happening.

      • Graham Bartram

Ah, well that’s that then. Never mind, I’ll wait for the IA book and get a Triaros armoured conveyor instead. I got a whole plastic mountain to paint in the mean time so no rush.

    • Emprah

I heard FW will give AM some transports in their next IA book.

      • Graham Bartram

True but that means FW prices…. Ah well, the Triaros is pretty cool.

  • Le_smee

I think it’s really good they’re tidying up all the units for 7th in preparation for 8th, would have been black mark if they hadn’t.

  • Grand_Master_Raziel

I think about the best can be said about Sisters right now is that this book at least proves GW isn’t going to squat them in the near future. Also, at least they got a detachment. The Army of Faith rule may not be much, but it’s not nothing. It’s basically a CAD with an Elites slot tax, but the tax can be paid cheap with DCAs. Take the minimum pair and an Immolator – basically for the Immolator. Have them hop out somewhere they can hide and lurk, and maybe they can pop out and mess up a small squad. As tax units go, it’s not too bad, and certainly way better than Celestians.

OMG, no plastic battle sisters in sight! You know what that means!
    Half Life 3 confirmed!

  • memitchell

On the plus side, I have some leftover SoB’s and a Priest from back in the day. I once thought the SoB’s could interest my daughter in painting miniatures with me. Yeah, I think not. But, I can actually field both of these detachments.

Something tells me I might struggle against Knights and Fliers.

    • Reven

The best bets standard sisters have are Retributors snapping rending heavy bolters at fliers and Repentia charges into Knights (Or 5 melta blasts from a dominion squad) If you include forge world there is the Avenger Strike Fighter which works pretty well.

      • memitchell

Repentia vs Knights! Worth the price of admission.

        • Reven

If you get a full squad of those girls into a Knight it will most likely die, then explode and take all of them with it lol

  • TheWanderingJewels

Well, it’s not a great re-launch for the Sisters, but since 8th is around the corner…. perhaps they could get a upgrade then? Would like to see them back in style

  • BigGrim

Why haven’t people figured out this isn’t a Sisters of Battle Codex? Because it’s not. It’s Imperial Agents. Sisters will get their Codex in due time. Be friggin’ patient.

    • Teresa

Because GW said that this was the SoB codex.

  • Carey_Mahoney

    It’s Codices, not Codexes.

    • Red_Five_Standing_By

      Not according to GW.

They use the word dice as a singular (instead of die) and Codexes as a plural of Codex.

      • Carey_Mahoney

They should get a dictionary for Christmas.
