The Cygnaran turned merc is out and gunning, gunning, gunning for trouble.
Caine Hellsingers is a Mercenary and Cygnar warcaster unit. It is a very shooty light tactical warcaster game plan. If you like having 1 turn of perfect execution Caine Hellsingers might be the caster for you. Guns and warjacks is the plan and casters will run away just to hope they don’t get shot off the board.
The unit is made up of Caine3 and the leftovers of the Black 13th Ryan and Watts. Lynch was killed in the fluff.
Caine and his buddies have really high defense sitting at 17 and 14 respectively. They are all ranged so they naturally have RAT9 and 8! However, they lack armor and even blast damage can be a real threat to their survival.
Caine is armed with 2 RNG12 POW12 SpellStorm Pistols with Reload 
Each time he shoots he picks 1 of 3 skills:
Blast: Meh, not high enough POW
Black Penny: Always useful
Witch Mark: Great for Calamity
Ryan is armed with 2 RNG 10 POW10 Pistols
Each time she shoot she picks from :
Brutal Damage: Can do damage to heavier targets
Shadow Fire:2 shots of shadow fire is really dangerous when casters are trying to hide.
Watts is armed with a RNG14 POW10 rifle
Each time he shoots he picks from:
Grevious Wounds: Great for Imperatus or warbeast hunting.
Calamity – If you are looking to damage high armor targets outside of feat turn.
Flicker: Nasty threat range extender
Locomotion: Good on a warjack with multiple shots.
Mage Sight: Stealth and woods can’t hide you.
Caine’s Feat:Reap the Whirlwind
It is pretty much ranged synergy. This is a nasty feat making every shooty warjack up to +3 power higher.
This list gives you a nasty feat turn that can either use arcing fire or shadow fire to get to the enemy caster. Throw in the safety of a cloud line and a stormwall to finish off any targets that make it to the gunline.

Caine3 is a nasty shooty monstrosity and even if you have a couple shieldguards that might not keep you safe. If you like quick games, Caine3 can play some of the quickest. I think he is better in Cygnar versus Mercenaries. Having access to the Squire to increase the control range for mage sight is a big deal. Also, Cygnar currently has a better shooty jack stable compared to Mercenaries. Outside Galleon there isn’t to many great shooty jacks for non Rhulic mercs.
I give Caine’s Hellsingers an A+
He can kill really heavy targets!
