The mind behind the infamous  Slingshot Channel has created a fun new way to shoot projectiles at your friends and family – and it looks pretty dang awesome after dark.

Joerg Sprave makes really cool things – his specialty is rubber-band powered weapons, but he’s also made some sweet throwing axes. His most recent projects are Star Wars inspired.

The first is based on Rey’s blaster from The Force Awakens. Sprave was looking for something more like the weapon in the movie, so it shoots glow-sticks to replicate laser fire.

If you’re more into the original trilogy, he also built a rubber-band powered version of Han’s blaster that also uses glow sticks as cartridges. As with most of his builds he includes a basic how-to if you want to build your own to complete a cosplay project or just to shoot your friends with in your backyard after dark.
