Last weekend, around 120 gamers from around the UK descended on Warhammer World for the ‘Age of the Emperor’ campaign weekend, run by the Tempus Fugitives, a club based in the south east of England. This event was the final one of four linked weekends based around the Horus Heresy, this one being based on the Great Scouring, pitting the recovering Imperium against the traitorous forces of Chaos. The Eldar, Orks and some Necron-esque constructs made an appearance too.

Anyway, here’s a selection of photos showing the fantastic selection of heresy-era armies on display. Bigred will particularly appreciate the selection of Fellblades and Fellswords (the Shadowsword equivalent!) on show, including the Blood Angel Fellsword shown above which was featured in the Best Army award winner’s excellent Blood Angels force. You’ll also see the now-painted Storm Hawk/Raven conversion, by Rustydice of mywargame.com, that BoLS featured a few months ago. Please excuse some of the less-than-average photography, Warhammer World’s lighting is not always the best to take shots in, especially with a compact camera.

Less than two weeks until Games Day UK. I’ll be there, updating BoLS live from the floor, assuming the 3G signal penetrates the outer hull of the LG Arena that is! Whatever happens, the best way to keep track is to follow me on Twitter, as I’ll send everything there first. If you see me there, please feel free to come and say hello, I’ll be wearing a lovely BoLS hooded top.
