So lets talk a bit today about the Vindicator.  In equal part feared and derided, it is quite the divisive unit on the tabletop.

Coming in a variety of flavors, the Vindicator brings more than simply its feared S:10 Demolisher cannon to the battle.

CSM Vindys come in the Possessed flavor, giving then a tenacity that require their utter destruction to really take them out of the game.

Marine / Space Wolves Vindys get the great Siege Shield making them the master of the surprise “peek-a-boo” attack through cover.

Blood Angel Vindys get the overcharged engines giving the platform an ability to maneuver that can catch many foes off guard.

The believers will say the vindicator is a great budget choice that regardless of its kills, shapes the battlefield and the psychology of the opponent by the mere threat of its cannon.  The detractors say a skilled player using all the tricks in the book of cover and spreading out ensures the Vindy is just a showpiece, better replaced by longer ranged, more dependable and higher rate of fire vehicles such as the Predator.

So where do you guys stand on this ancient weapon of the Astartes, both loyal and traitor?  Let hear your thoughts on when and how to use them, wargear loadouts, and how they are performing in your armies.  If you have any particular tactics or stratagems for getting the most our of the Vindy, lets hear them.  The floor is yours fellow Generals.
