GENCON 2013 Roundup – Part 1 – CMoN
Rather than try to pick a favorite to open with, I’m just going to list everything alphabetically by manufacturer. That means we’re going to start with Cool Mini or Not. They had plenty of stuff to keep my Camera busy. Here are some pics of the brand new Dark Age stuff.
DARK AGE
Here are some close-ups of the new Fire Caste Dragyri.
These are new Skarrd. I really dig the Work Shepherd.
The Blood Puppets aren’t new but I don’t think I’ve ever seen one painted before. I’d always wondered what the minis looked like.
These are the new Outcast models.
New CORE.
And the new CORE Legionary in between those two rends.
SEDITION WARS
There was a cool setup for Sedition Wars, but nowhere near as much activity for the game as last year.
RELIC KNIGHTS
Here was one of the cool Relic Knights gaming tables.
They had some new Relic Knights models out.
WRATH OF KINGS
In the same case was a bunch of stuff for Wrath of Kings, currently on Kickstarter. As a long time Confrontation fan this one has been on my radar. I’ve been trying to ignore it (I can’t play every minis game after all), but after playing a demo and spending a good long while ogling the minis in the case I think I’ll probably be dropping some money on this one. Check out the pics and I think you’ll understand why.
They had some production samples with them and the quality seems pretty solid.
And they brought back the same cool diorama from last year.
RIVET WARS
There was also a really cool display set up for Rivet Wars that I had to snap a bunch of pictures of.
SUPER DUNGEON EXPLORE
In the Hell Dorado case I spotted an unpainted Quetzol lurking.
