Kingdom Death: Stunning Minis Made of WHAT!!!
It’s been about a year since Kingdom Death pulled in 2 million for their Monster Kickstarter. They have been very busy indeed…
We all have been amazed and taken aback by Kingdom Death’s unique visual style over the years, but their limited run resin miniatures are uniformly highly detailed and beautiful for their size and especially for an outfit as young as KD is.
So when their Kickstarter required that they have to turn their range of hyper detailed resins into mass producable injection molded plastic with all of that medium’s technical limitations everyone knew it would be a colossal challenge.
But look what they unveiled only a few days back:
Remember as you look at these figures – these are injection molded plastic, just like GW and recent Wyrd kits, not Forgeworld style resin.
Looking at these sprues, you can see how each figures have been cunningly cut into myriad parts to hide the joinlines, and keep such crisp detail. Remember these are roughly 28mm scale miniatures.
