Hey BoLS Readers! Our buddies from Dragon’s Lair Comics & Fantasy brought over the new Star Wars: Rebellion board game from Fantasy Flight Games. This game is just as EPIC as the original trilogy that we all know and love:
Now, I’ve already done quite a bit of writing about this game having unboxed this one solo. However, I was please to hear that Evan from Dragon’s Lair was just as excited to dive into this game as I was. Opening a new box for this game is just as impressive as the first time. It’s heavy! There are a bunch of miniatures, tokens, cards and the board sections – It’s, well, EPIC. Very fitting for a game about the Galactic Civil War from Star Wars.
Another thing I’ve touched on previously just how cinematic this game is because of the objectives and missions. You can attempt to recreate the awesome moments in the movie or you can try and do something different to see how it plays out – that’s a big deal for the Imperial Player (spoiler alert: The Empire loses in the movies).
