If you have trouble getting to the show from work we are also on YouTube.  You can find the full show there and short tactic and reaction videos.

We cover a lot of ground in this episode including the new games Shadespire and Total War: Warhammer II.  I know… we’re a 40k show but there is a lot to offer from both of these games.

Shadespire is a game designed from the ground up to be a competitive fast paced experience.  Some are calling it a gateway game.. I am calling it what it is – Fun…   We can sit down and play a complete game with excellent miniatures in about 15-20 minutes.  Don’t like the outcome?  You’re playing again in minutes and have the ability to change up your strategies/decks between games.

The game is part deck building, party strategy board game and part miniature wargame.  I have thoroughly enjoyed it.  Expect more coverage on this soon!

In the second segment we talk about Total War: Warhammer II.  This is a multi experience game that combines a turn base strategy game with real time simulation.  You can find articles about this on the FTN articles page.  We picked the game up on Steam and were up in playing in no time.  The game is immersive and even though you can build giant armies to crush people – there is still an element of being a cunning general to win games.

The upcoming events we talk about are Wargames of Warriors, Vendetta Games, and Giga-Bites Cafe 10th Anniversary.

The Finishing Moves segment is sponsored by Frontline Gaming. Their new mats are now hot off the presses and getting ready to be shipped. Please check them out, even if you already have a game mat. Their new styles are very impressive. If you haven’t already get your tickets NOW for the mega Las Vegas Open.

The other guys weren’t too excited about this one… but it’s about using molded plasticard to create your own custom bases.  This is a way to give your army a unique look and seamlessly blend it into your display board.

FTN mostly focuses on Warhammer 40k, but again you will see in the first few episodes we take a severe deep dive into nerdom. These have been a blast to record and I hope they help pass the time for you.
