The latest Games Workshop Rumor Engine isn’t just blowing smoke – come take a whiff of what’s on the way and see if you can guess whats coming on the wind.

“Can you guess what this week’s Rumour Engine is?”

The text is pretty vague and all we’re looking at is three curls of something rising up. This wouldn’t be the first model to have a “rising smoke” theme. In fact, one faction in AoS has a couple models that have incorporated smoke before:

The Firebelly

Weirdnob Shaman

Could this be another clue that something is coming for Destruction? Quite possibly. They don’t seem to have gotten a ton of attention within Age of Sigmar. Perhaps AoS 2.0 is going to bring them some new models. After all, the new Goblin Cave-Shaman came out for Malign Portents, perhaps that was a sign of models to come.

This curl of smoke could also be part of the new ‘Endless Spells’ coming with the changes in Magic ahead. Those spells are supposed to have a model when they come into play and this could certainly be a part of that.

Before we wrap this up, let’s go down one more train of thought. There are 3 curls. 3 is a popular number (at least visually) for another faction altogether:

Could this ‘smoke’ be Nurgle related? I guess we’ll all have to wait to find out…
