This past Friday brought with it a very special Saltmarsh themed episode of Spoilers and Swag. Come get another glimpse inside the newest upcoming D&D Book right here!

The Ghosts of Saltmarsh is well on its way, and will soon be bringing aquatic adventures of all stripes to a tabletop near you. With its update of seven classic D&D adventures that all deal with aquatic adversaries, starting with  U1: Sinister Secrets of Saltmarsh and going on through the editions, the Ghosts of Saltmarsh book promises action and adventure enough to swash even the bilgiest of buckles. We already know what adventures will be featured–but here’s a look inside the book–we’ve got some fantastic featured artwork, as well as a look at the maps that await you within–all thanks to a very special Spoilers & Swag, the monthly show wherein Kate Welch and Nathan Stewart bring the latest spoilers and, as the name suggests, swag to live viewers on Twitch.

So here’s a look at what you can expect in the book. Maps–should surprise no one, but like any good adventure/sourcebook, this one is chock full of maps. Including this one of the now setting-agnostic (although really, what isn’t) town of Saltmarsh, seen here.

You can see where Saltmarsh is situated, right near the Kingisher river, as well as get a few glimpses of points of interest nearby. Including surrounding farms, and a mysterious point of interest on an island not far off. Probably not worth worrying about though.

Speaking of maps, though, here’s one of a haunted manor for completely unrelated reasons.

Now, it wouldn’t be an aquatic adventure book if Ghosts of Saltmarsh didn’t feature a few deckplans. And we know there are layouts for many different ships (and rules to build, stat, and map your own). Here’s one of them–purportedly the Sea Ghost, which is probably not haunted. Best not to think about it.

And all of this is just a taste of what awaits you when you open up the Ghosts of Saltmarsh. If you want to watch the whole stream for yourself, we’ve embedded it below. Enjoy!

And happy adventuring!
