We’ve got a copy of the new Primaris Repulsor Executioner Kit and we’re diving into the contents – plus the rules!

Is it a Razorback replacement? Maybe a Predator upgrade? Perhaps a Land Raider for Primaris? The answer is yes – and maybe so much more.

Executioner Time

The new Primaris Repulsor Executioner has a lot going on – a metric ton of weapons, serious armor, and a special new ability that will make this tank a threat to vehicles with 12-24 wounds! Personally, I’m not sure if this new anti-grav tank is going to fly off the shelves or not – but the more I see the profile and the model, the more it’s starting to grow on me.

Basically, GW has taken the Repulsor and replaced the turret with a larger version. However, this turret has some spicy new firepower. The Macro Plasma Incinerator is essentially the same gun you can take with the Redemptor Dreadnought and it’s a decent weapon. Too bad the Heavy Laser Destroyer is an option because it’s packing a PUNCH. Combine that with the Aquilon Optics rule and you’re looking at 4 shots that are doing a minimum of 3 damage a pop. Park one of these next to Robbie G and watch them punch through armor with ease. And then turn the rest of their guns on the infantry and shred them!

Your looking at a tank that is going to clock in around 300 points – depending on how many bells and whistles you give it. The question is if it’s going to be able to pull it’s weight. With the number of Hellforged Contemptor Dreadnoughts running around in the competitive scene these days having something with that serious of a gun just might be worth it.

When it comes to the model itself – it’s pretty much what you expect! It’s a Repulsor Chasis with a larger turret. I think the larger turret fits with the look of the tank a lot more. I also think it really looks like a hover/anti-grav main battle tank. It’s just more compared to the Repulsor. This thing looks more like an M1 Abrams than an APC. I certainly think the cannon and turret help with that!

If you liked the Repulsor, I’m willing to bet you’re probably going to like this tank. If you didn’t, well, maybe the rules will convince you to give it a fair shake on the tabletop. It’s going to be a pricey addition points wise no matter how you slice it – but it packs a punch and can deliver 6 Primaris Models where you need them (or 3 Aggressors – I’m just sayin’).
