The blade of the Everchosen has been forged–and it is a process worth bearing witness to. Watch Sword and the Stone studios work their magic.

It is not every day that you get to watch an epic blade being forged. And yet, that’s exactly what you have the chance to do right now, as Tony Swatton brings yet a beloved blade from the collective consciousness of humanity’s imagining to full, vibrant, three-dimensional (at least) life before your very eyes. He’s forged Keyblades and Master Swords, but now watch as Archaon’s blade is born in a storm of fire and steel and some really cool looking shades.

The blade was forged by master craftsman, Tony Swatton, from Sword in the Stone studios and internet blacksmithing fame. Tony has produced props for many of the best-known properties in the world, ranging from Pirates of the Carribean and The Last Samurai to Thor and The Hunger Games.

The Slayer of Kings was forged to celebrate the Everchosen global painting competition. Whatever your skill level, this is a great opportunity to push yourself to paint your best model yet and compete at a local level (not to mention a chance to experiment with the expanded Citadel Colour range).

We want everyone to give it a shot, and if you’re looking for some inspiration, the official Golden Demon website has just been updated with the most recent winners from Warhammer Fest UK. The quality of painting on display was incredible to behold, and Everchosen will surely provide equally stunning results.
