Games Workshop is teasing a new Primaris Lieutenant and some “other guys” in a new spoof video – check it out!

Everyone know Primaris Lieutenants are the real heroes of the Imperium, right? Well that’s the case according to the latest video from Games Workshop. It’s all for the gag – but check it out and see what you can see:

Awkward…but anyhow, let’s take a closer look at those models and try to take a stab at what we are seeing:

In the video GW hints at a new Tank, a new Dreadnought, and new Snipers (as well as single new Lieutenant model). GW also intentionally blurred out the models and also showed off a new picture strategically blocking some other things:

Here’s what we do know so far – that new tank might be a Repulsor variant, but it’s not packing the same firepower. You can see from the pictures that the side has some new “vent” thing on them as well as the top turret it different. Plus, the front-facing twin-las/twin-heavy bolter option is missing.

Could this new variant be a replacement for the other types of tanks in the Marine line-up? The Whirlwind, Predator, Hunter/Stalker update? We will see.

As far as the Dreadnought goes, this one is really hard to tell. The front cockpit area looks different – like it has a pair of roll bars on the front. The top turret is more square than a Redemptor, too. Maybe it’s just the angle of the pictures but the arms and legs look elongated as well.

And finally let’s talk about those new Snipers. We kind of already know about those thanks to Apocalypse.

Now, this COULD be an entirely different unit. However, we know in Apocalypse, Eliminators are getting some new toys to use in 40k:

Those new Snipers could be the ones with the new Las-fusils.

Anyhow, there also appears to be a new Lieutenant as well in the mix – and you can never have too many of those, right?! Now the question is when are these hitting shelves? Are they all apart of a new boxed set or are we finally getting some new Marine boxes for the units from Shadowspear? Guess we’ll have to wait and see!

What do you think about the new units? Any guesses at what their combat roles will be?
