AoS: The Sylvaneth Battletome Overview

It’s time to walk through the Gardens of the Sylvaneth and see what crops we can find with their latest Battletome!

We got our hands on the Sylvaneth Battletome and things are looking good in the neighborhood garden for the Trees, Spirits and Tree-Spirits found within:

The Sylvaneth Reborn

One of the biggest questions folks might have about the new book is in relation to the Points of the Sylvaneth units in the book. Well, just so everyone is on the same page, they are the exact same point values found in the General’s Handbook 2019. If you have a copy of the General’s Handbook 2019, then you’ve got the same points and you’re set in terms of being able to point out a list for Matched Play.

However, what the General’s Handbook doesn’t have is all the new unit changes that are found within the Sylvaneth Battletome. Fortunately, if you really want to see those, you can find all of them on GW’s website via the product pages for each unit. The GHB 2019 also doesn’t have any of the lore found in this book of which there is a ton! If you’ve been wondering how the Sylvaneth have been fairing from the beginnings of the Age of Sigmar all the way past the Soul Wars Saga and beyond – this book has it all.

It doesn’t stop there either. This book also has all the other rules you’ll want if you play Sylvaneth. From the 7 different Glades, Command Traits, Spell Lores, Artefacts of Power, and lots more – it’s a verdant garden of goodies for players.

Each Glade has their own Abilties, Command Ability, Command Trait, and Artefact of Power – on top of the ‘Generic’ options, too!

Obviously, this is a must buy for any Sylvaneth player. If you’ve been on the fence about playing Sylvaneth this book is worth a read as well. You’ll either be swayed by it’s fruitful bounty or you’ll know for sure it’s not for you. If you’re a fan of the lore and story going on then this book certainly adds a new perspective on the story side of things.
