Games Workshop’s latest Rumor Engine has some pretty fancy looking boots – take a look for yourself!

Get a load of these new boots that some lucky model is getting their hands on. Slaanesh Noise Marine, eat your heart out:

The key to deciphering the visions that the Rumour Engine provides is to stare through the image rather than at it. Only then will the future be truly revealed!

Those boots are pretty intense looking! Quite the feat of engineering if I do say so. GW certainly shoehorned in some extra details you might miss on first glance. For example, there are some metal studs on the boots Calf/shin area along with those 3 buckles. That coupled with the horn on the toe cap area makes me think we’re looking at something for Chaos.

The kicker is that this could be for either 40k or AoS as the style of it really could go either way. My initial reaction is that this boot looks like something out of KISS – and that means Noise Marine.

At the same time, it’s clearly not a Space Marine style boot – so it’s probably not a Noise Marine directly. I’m thinking it could be a big fan of their work, however. Perhaps a cultist or something along those lines.

Maybe this is an image from one of the upcoming Warbands of Warcry – either the Scions of the Flame or the Spire Tyrants. Or maybe it’s another model coming for an updated Slaves to Darkness book for Chaos…who knows!

The possibilities are pretty wide open. With that said, I think it would be best to turn this over to the professional gumshoes out there. Internet Detectives – follow the trail left by this boot and let us know what you come up with in the comments!

And that’s just what they’ll do.
