We take a deeper dive in Codex Space Marines this week – and the Invictor Warsuit.
In the preshow we tried to make a bare bones Brigade just for the additional Command Points but eh… It wasn’t working out. If feel like you had a lot of toys but it wasn’t a cohesive force of supportive units… Listen to figure out where we went wrong.
The reviews are in. The Space Marines are good with lots of good units. There have been improvement to existing units and some brand new units to choose from. The Invictor Warsuit is one of those units. Man… It’s taken some heat due to the model but the rules are banging.
In the last updates units like Aggressors and Inceptors got improvements but they are even better now with the Shock Assault rule and an increase to their wounds and attacks. This is before you add in Chapter Tactics.
The hard part will be deciding what to take. Like we kick off with, the challenge will be figuring out how to make a ‘cohesive’ and supportive force. Units like the Chaplain are going to assist with this. They are basically an auto include how with their ability to buff themselves and the units around them. What do you think? What are you most looking forward to about getting it on the table?
The Wrong Way Kids will be putting on their first official public event later this year the Armageddon Series: Coastal Assault. Tickets are up for sale right now. Please join us. You will have a good time. It will be a full ITC format event and an excellent opportunity to get ITC overall and faction points.
