It’s Tuesday, which means it’s time for a new Rumor Engine from Games Workshop – but what the heck are we looking at?

This one is another stumper, folks. I’m not even sure what we’re all looking at so let’s just dive in:

via Warhammer Community

“The Rumour Engine is here to brighten your day with a little slice of magic! A really, really little slice. It’s more like a magic snack if we’re honest. Take a look.”

Whelp, there you go! It’s Magic! Or maybe a little slice of Magic! I’m …not sure? I don’t know – it could be a lot of things. For starters, we got this coiled-up “thing” which could be a snake around a staff and crystal. But that is probably ornamental because it’s also got some type of beads/rope attached to it as well.

I have a feeling this one might be a slower burn. We might not find out what this bit is for at least a few weeks, if not months. Remember, sometimes GW drops Rumor Engines months in advance – they are sneaky like that. If this is magical, I would assume that would mean it would be for AoS, right? And there are still plenty of armies who need and could use a battletome update along with Endless Spells and a terrain kit.

So if I have to actually guess – I’m going to say it’s uh…Seraphon! Yeah! Sure, we’ll go with that one.

They like snakes, right? Plus they got all those crazy details like crystal skulls, right? Oh wait, that was something else? Okay then. But they DO like snakes, right?

Eh…I think the Saurus Warriors could certainly use a refresh. And I’m also curious as to what they’ve been up to this whole time. Oh well, I’m just spitballing here – so let me know what you think this bit is for in the comments!

Internet, any ideas on this one? Well besides snakes?
