The Forge World Indexes are officially moved to “Last Chance To Buy” Status. Get them while you can.

If you were waiting to get your hands on the Forge World Indexes for Warhammer 40,000 8th edition, you might want to get them ASAP. At LVO 2020, GW announced that they were going to be ending production of those books. Now, they hinted that something else would replace them and it looks like they are in the final preparation for those Indexes to get retired.

Since the release of the Forge World indexes a couple of years ago, Warhammer 40,000 has changed a lot. While the indexes were a great reference resource, we want to give you something even better – which is why the Warhammer 40,000 studio embarked on a project to bring you a series of all-new books with updated rules for these units and armies.

To make room for these new, mysterious books, the Forge World indexes will be disappearing, though the rules will remain in use until the new books arrive. We’re letting you know now so you’ve got a chance to pick them up if you’re missing any. We’ll have more news soon, so keep an eye out.

Well, it looks like the time is upon us. All the Index Books have been moved to “Last Chance To Buy” Status and will probably be there until they sell out or GW pulls them entirely.

Notice that little red icon? That’s the “Last Chance To Buy” icon. These books are about to head to the farm upstate to their final resting place. So if you DO want a copy to use or for a historical record, you should score a copy soon.

Imperial Armour Index Collection $93

Collecting together the four Imperial Armour – Index books, this bundle will provide you with the necessary datasheets for using your Forge World models in games of Warhammer 40,000.

These books are designed to update the rules for Forge World’s current and recent ranges of models for use with the latest incarnation of the Warhammer 40,000 game.

The books and their contents are fully compatible with the Index books available from games-workshop.com, expanding on the range of Datasheets to be found there and containing all the information you need to field your Forge World models in the new edition of the Warhammer 40,000 game. Also included are Power ratings and appendices for their use in Battle-forged armies.

It’s the last days of the indexes from Forge World. What do you think will replace them?
