New models have been spotted for the Lumineth. Everyone’s favorite pointy aelves are getting even pointier, check ’em out.

Amid a preview of some of the finer details on the Lumineth’s big heroes like Teclis and the Light of Eltharion, Games Workshop has hidden a few previews of what looks to be a new model, and what potentially could be some of the Light Aelves’ new Endless Spells. Let’s take a look.

First things first though, let’s take a look at Teclis who is hanging out with his magical friend Celennar, the manifestation of Hysh’s moon spirit, and some cool geomantic runes. These runes all correspond to different elements, representing Teclis’ relationship with the spirits of Hysh.

But then there’s this new model, holding a spear tipped with the run of the Mountain and floating in a sea of calm.

One other thing to note is that the wind is always blowing in the same direction on all of the Lumineth models.

Getting back to the Light of Eltharion, he is in essence a hollow suit of armour. The miniature’s designer Seb Perbet took into account how wind would whip through the negative space within the armour, so made his robes appear as if fluttering with wild abandon. Seb, who headed up the Lumineth project and was responsible for producing the early mock-ups of the other units in the range, ensured that the wind flowed in the same direction on all the miniatures, creating a striking effect when they’re arrayed for battle.

Which is displayed on a preview of a larger banner than the one we’ve seen before, and a few other parts of models that look like they could easily be Endless Spells if not a part of larger, more scenic models.

First up a magical chalice or brazier that seems to  be overflowing with some kind of magical smoke. And then we have a sad figure in a veil.

This figure could be a model unto themselves though. Finally a large banner.
