Is it time to spend some quiet time distracted with you creative side? Take a look at these D&D coloring pages, grab some pencils, and go to town!

Coloring pages are the perfect low-key distraction for some people. They’re creative and pretty, don’t take much thought, and the simple repetitive nature of coloring can be very soothing. If you’re stressed out right now – and honestly many of us are – and getting a little artistic helps you quell that, these are the nerdy coloring pages for you. And as an added bonus, if you’re raising any nerdlings, these are a great way of introducing them to something you love in a way that’s accessible and fun.

CatBat Studios’s

Do you like D&D monsters? Do you like pretty art of them? CatBat Studio’s Fantasy Creatures coloring book is a basically a run down of the Monster Manual’s greatest hits. That mama owl bear and their cub-owlet is almost too cute and their beholder page (not pictured, you’ll have to go to their Etsy page and see for yourself) is perhaps some of my favorite in the fandom. Plus, as a total non-sequitur, CatBat Studios has been one of my favorite small artists for a long time as is evidenced by the Attack on Titan tarot deck I bought from them before I fell off of the show.

Paint The World Super Coloring

With 36 downloadable pages of creatures, monsters, and characters, this collection will probably have at least a page or two that strikes your fancy. The line art is credited to Mariana Ruiz Villarreal or LadyofHats but apparently fall under public domain and are available on Super Coloring for free. If you’re on a budget but want to start coloring right now, you’re a sheet of printer paper away from coloring that orc any shade you want.

The Official Advanced D&D Coloring Book

In 2011 Monster Brains uploaded the entire official D&D Coloring Book for your downloading and coloring pleasure! The art is fun and crisp and very 1979, which brings a level of kitsch and charm to this collection of line-art that I personally really enjoy. You might not have a lot of interest in coloring books, but I still very much recommend you at least take a look through this delightful piece of D&D history.

Eternia Press

Has 2020 been hard on you? Would you like to color some D&D Monsters Saying Inspirational S**t? Of course you would, that’s hilarious. This offering is a little less serious and a lot more lighthearted and funny. Adult coloring books are about winding down, and this one definitely says, “Let’s just chill out,” to me. Like the CatBat book, this one isn’t downloadable nor free, but you’d be supporting small artist in a difficult time and getting a physical thing in return.

How do you unwind after a long day? If coloring wouldn’t hit your fancy, what would? What wrong color would you make your favorite creature? Let us know in the comments!

Happy Adventuring!
