The story of Blackstone Fortress reaches its climatic end with Ascension:

It’s a new boxed set and it’s promising to add some new spicy goodness for the Blackstone Fortress:

These models are much taller than the previous spindle drones. The War-Com team described them as “the final boss” creatures for the adventure. Ascension is going to be the final chapter for the the Blackstone Fortress story. The base game was kind of a “jolly adventure” and each expansion so far has stepped up the danger level. I’m looking forward to seeing where Ascension takes this.
