Forge World is reopening very soon – so what should you order to get ready for the next edition? Here’s a few kit’s we’d like to snag!

Games Workshop has been ramping up production with folks returning to work. It’s been a process as they have taken recommended measures for the safety of their employees. That’s a good thing! And Forge World is starting to come back online, too. Their announcement got us thinking: Now that Forge World is back and a new edition is on the horizon, what would be the perfect pairing with the new boxed set?

Well, considering it’s Necrons and Primaris Marines – this one is for those armies! Here’s a few kits we’d recommend to pick-up from Forge World to add to your Necrons or Primaris Armies!

Necron Seraptek Heavy Construct

You could go with the Seraptek with the Synaptic Obliterators & Transdimensional Projectors (above) or the other version. Either way, it’s just a really cool kit for the Necrons. It’s big, it’s beefy, it has a ton of firepower, and you KNOW with the next edition and the changes to vehicles that nothing is going to slow this one down!

Astraeus Super-heavy Tank

For Primaris, is there really any other vehicle from Forge World (more on that below). Anyhow, the Astraeus is kind of on the ridiculous side. But hey, it’s Forge World and these beasts are going to get even better in the next edition. So what the heck!?

Leviathan Pattern Siege Dreadnought

The Leviathan is another great pick-up. It’s got a TON of arm options so you can tweak it to your heart’s desire and have it fill whatever combat role you need. It’s not technically a Primaris unit, but it’s big and bulky enough (especially compared to Classic Dreadnoughts) that it will fit right in.

See – it’s almost the same footprint as a Redemptor! So close…so very close.

Necron Canoptek Tomb Stalker

Voted most likely to give me the heebeegeebees, the Canoptek Tomb Stalker is one creepy mechno-bug. It’s got enough legs to make a Tyranid jealous and, again, it’s only going to be better in the next edition based on the vehicle rules. I am really looking forward to seeing what changes are going to happen with the rest of the army list – but this is one unit from Forge World I’m particularly curious about.

Necron Canoptek Acanthrites

This one is on the list simply because of how different they look. I don’t know about you, but I also like to check out Forge World for something that is going to be truly unique and different from anything else you can get in the army. These strange Acanthrites fit that bill. They have that wasp-like body and it’s fits the mechno-bug theme while not being a Necron Scarab. I don’t know if they are going to be better or worse in the next edition – but these guys follow the rule of cool and that’s good enough for me.

There’s plenty more from Forge World! What kits for the Primaris or Necrons do you want to add for the next edition?
