Warhammer 40K: The New Launch Box Details & MORE Previews
The new edition of Warhammer 40,000 is getting a new “Launch Box” – here’s what we know so far. Plus even more new stuff!
We got a pretty amazing preview of the next boxed set coming from Games Workshop. This one has been dubbed a “Launch Box” and that means a few things:
- Designed For Current Players – all new miniatures, no dice or range finders (but new players can dive in here too)
- Special Version of the Core Book Included
- Limited Run – This box won’t be around for the life of 9th edition (but they made LOADS of copies)
We do NOT have a confirmation on the price. However, the GW team was saying that the value of the miniatures in the box is more than 1/2 off the price if you bought them all retail. So I could imagine this box costing around $200 pretty easily.
