In a shocking move that no one saw coming, all the models in Warhammer Quest: Cursed City will ALSO have rules for use in Age of Sigmar!

Okay…maybe it wasn’t such a surprise but it is confirmation and some good news for AoS fans. If you pick up Cursed City then you’re going to be adding to your collection a ton of miniatures with their own rules for use in AoS as well. It’s going to be a great booster box for their respective factions – but what will these models do? Let’s take a closer look to find out!

Rules You Can Use

“Every model that comes in the new Warhammer Quest boxed set also has a warscroll for Warhammer Age of Sigmar, so they can take their feud beyond the city walls. Here’s a sneak peek at some of our favourite rules.”

Jelsen Darrock – Judgement

This attack can ensure you’re able to drop lower wound models and even if you don’t roll to one-shot them, your still going to get a mortal wound. This is an attack that, once it hits, is going to do some damage. Jelsen Darrock can be added to a Cities of Sigmar army as well.

Octren Glimscry – Withering Hex

Octren might be old but he’s far from useless. Withering Hex is a mean spell he can toss on an enemy unit. Not only does it do D3 mortal wounds, it also slows the enemy down by 1″ for the rest of the battle! It’s the Hex that keeps on giving.

Gorslav the Gravekeeper – Gravekeeper’s Spade

The Cursed Cities Gravekeeper has his own unique weapon and he’s not afraid to use it! On top of it’s solid profile, the Gravekeeper also has another ability that will keep him up and swinging as long as there are some friendly Zombies around:

“But how will I ensure that a Zombie is always around to soak wounds for him?” Good question. Apparently, he’s also got an ability to bring new Zombies on to the battlefield. So if you’re going to use him, maybe bring some of those new zombies along for the ride.

Vargskyrs

No, that’s not a typo. That’s This Beastie:

“When a vampire can no longer control its feral urges, it can turn into a monstrous Vargskyr. While it might not be the traditional noble and fashionable vampire archetype, it’s still a nightmarish creature for anyone it faces on the battlefield. “

So what does this feral vampire do on the tabletop? Well, they have a Bounding Leap that is probably going to surprise some folks to start:

Yep. 18″ charge range and even when you’re within 12″ that 3D6 roll is going to make those shorter charges even more consistent.

This is just the tip of the iceberg. There are a BUNCH of other models in the boxed set that will also get their own rules for use in Age of Sigmar. Get ready for a tidal wave of minis in Warhammer Quest: Cursed City!

What are the odds we get a Warscroll Battalion for the Undead side of things in the box?
