It’s a part 4 of the Rumor Engine Visions of Beasts series and this one sure looks like it’s about to go boom.
Lord-Ordinator Verrinus Longsight is back to messing with the Rumor Engine. This time, he’s gotten some strange results. Let’s take a quick look!
Before we get into what this could be, here’s a fun bit from the narrative part of this Rumor Engine:
“I returned to the dungeons of Sigmaron and utilised the strange arcane engine once more. But before pressing the red button, I tried pulling a lever on the side of the machine.
Instead of forming the symbol of Ghur, as it had done previously, the smoke revealed the rune for ‘T’ before dispersing to leave this celestium image.
My studies have identified many locations within Ghur that begin with the letter ‘T’, and despite the details bound within the image, I could glean no useful information as to who or what might dwell there.”
The rune for “T” eh? Interesting. As far as what the image is, well, it could be a club or a mace of some sort. Or it could be a fragmentation grenade. Also, what’s up with that hand? And those fingernails? They look humanoid, but…not. Very curious indeed!
Based on the narrative portion of this Rumor Engine, I’m still going to go with something for the Age of Sigmar line and probably something to do with Ghur. The “T” is throwing things off, but I’m sticking to the course laid out so far. We’ll see if we end up with a red herring or two. It’s a Rumor Engine…you never can tell!
Alright Internet Detectives, it’s your turn! Let us know what you think this could be and join in the fun. Is it an Orruk? Maybe another Vampire? Did the Beastmen get an upgrade? Who knows! Guess on.
Does this mean a rabbit is involved?
