Star Trek Day is on September 8th and there’s a massive free stream with details about all of the new shows and Roddenberry’s legacy going on.

Live from the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles, California, Star Trek Day will be hosted by Wil Wheaton and Mica Burton and feature a live orchestra composed by Jeff Russo, back-to-back in-person conversations with cast members and creative minds from the “Star Trek” Universe, “legacy moments” with iconic cast, plus surprise announcements and reveals throughout.

Along with panels for all of the current Paramount+ Star Trek series (Discovery, Picard, Lower Decks, and Prodigy) Gene Roddenberry’s son Rod Roddenberry will be leading a panel that will focus on the legacy of the creator and focuses on shows past. Based on what was released on ‘First Contact Day’ there will likely be new trailers for Picard and Discovery – maybe a closer look at the Prodigy animated series that’s bringing Trek to a new generation.

The big hope is that we’ll get a look at prequel Strange New Worlds, which goes back in time to follow Captain Pike (Anson Mount), Science Officer Spock (Ethn Peck) and Number One (Rebecca Romijn) as they explore new worlds around the galaxy on the U.S.S. Enterprise.

You can join in by watching the free livestream on Wednesday September 8th at 5:30 PM, PT/8:30 PM, ET. More info on the panels and how to tune in can be found here.
