D&D: So About Those Arby’s Dice…

2 Minute Read

For one shining, glorious minute, Arby’s was selling an entire set of tabletop dice. They’re gone now, but you can still see what might have been.

What is it with Fast Foods and roleplaying games? Wendy’s released their own d20 adventure what feels like an eternity ago. How long ago was it actually?

Time has no meaning. That was two years ago? What even is reality anymore. Well, if, like me, you’re having an existential crisis over branded products, then this news isn’t going to help you any. But. Do you remember how around the same time, Arby’s released their own hand-crafted dice tower with sliced meat and Arby’s themed dice?

Well.

By popular demand.

Like really popular demand. Arby’s released a set of custom Arby’s dice with gold numbering, and little Arby’s hats encased inside every polyhedron, so not only do you roll, you roll with flavor. Or something along those lines.

And the internet being the same place that came up with the name Boaty McBoatface, and that loved putting bacon on everything, went nuts for these fast food dice. And they disappeared faster than your stomach lining after eating a Beef-n-Cheddar. Which is to say they’re sold out.

You can’t get ’em anymore. Though, considering that they sold out in about two hours, and Arby’s loves both handcrafted displays on their social media and money, I would not be too surprised if we see another set of these dice in the not too distant future. Maybe not next Tuesday AD, but keep your eye on Arby’s shop. Which is a page I didn’t even know existed until today. So good job D&D dice. You’re working.

Happy Adventuring!
