Netflix is offering up a ton of original movies in the next several months – here are the ones you should pay attention to.

Worth – September 3rd
An attorney learns a lesson in empathy when he is faced with the near-impossible task of determining how to compensate families who suffered incalculable losses as a result of the September 11th attacks in 2001. Based on true events.

 

Kate – September 10th
After she’s poisoned, a ruthless criminal operative has less than 24 hours to exact revenge on her enemies and in the process forms an unexpected bond with the daughter of one of her past victims. There’s no time for mercy.

 

Nightbooks – September 15th
When Alex , a boy obsessed with scary stories, is trapped by an evil witch in her magical apartment, and must tell a scary story every night to stay alive, he teams up with another prisoner, Yasmin, to find a way to escape.

 

The Guilty – October 1st
A remake of the 2018 Danish film of the same name. An 911 dispatcher and former police officer answers an emergency call from a kidnapped woman. When the call is suddenly disconnected, the search for the woman and her kidnapper begins. This version is directed and produced by Antoine Fuqua with a screenplay by Nic Pizzolatto (True Detective); and stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Ethan Hawke, Peter Sarsgaard, Riley Keough, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Paul Dano, and Bill Burr.

In this prequel to Zack Snyder’s Army of the Dead, small-town bank teller Dieter gets drawn into the adventure of a lifetime when a mysterious woman recruits him to join a crew of Interpol’s most wanted criminals, attempting to heist a sequence of legendary, impossible-to-crack safes across Europe.

The Harder They Fall – November 3rd

Cyler)—and a surprising adversary-turned-ally.
