It’s time to meet the Ork that tamed the Great White Squig. It’s a rules preview of Mozrog Skragbad!

Mozrog Skragbad is a imfamous Snakebite Ork who faced down the Great White Squig and “tamed” it. He’s coming to a tabletop near you and he’s got some pretty cool things going on under the hood (or maybe in the Squig’s Maw – we’re not sure). Today, we’re getting a look at some of his new rules and Mozrog is going to be taking a chunk out of his enemies.

via Warhammer Community

“To those Snakebites who fight under him, Mozrog Skragbad is a totemic figure blessed by both Gork and Mork, not to mention the ‘ardest git in the galaxy. Now almost entirely bionics, scar tissue, and bad attitude, he’s legendarily tough, even by Ork standards, and bullets, lasers, and rockets seem to bounce harmlessly off him.”

That toughness manifests in actual rules, too! He’s got an invulnerable save as well as a damage reduction ability.

Good luck punching through that thick hide! And speaking of punching, that’s something that Skragbad is pretty good at. Thanks to his special klaw Gutrippa:

-2 AP and 3 Damage per hit is no joke. That’s dangerous enough to cut down a Primaris Marine in their prime. It’s also going to make him deadly vs armor, too. And don’t forget about Big Chompa either. That Squig has its own attacks that involve some pretty terrifying teeth.

YIKES. It’s basically 3 bonus attacks from Big Chompa directly. And if you happen to roll 6’s to wound, you’ll inflict 4 mortal wounds. #planroll6s

Beast Snaggas in particular are really adept at taking on Titanic targets. That’s even more apparent when you see their new Stratagem:

That’s some serious damage output from a Beast Snagga Warboss when they go up against a Titanic unit. It would be pretty amazing if the Warboss destroyed the target and then the target exploded and took out the Warboss. What a way to go!

Beastboss on Squigosaur

Let’s pretend for a moment that you don’t want to play Mozrog and you aren’t playing a Snakebites army. Good news, you can still take a Beastboss on Squigosaur!

“They can of course be equipped with a range of powerful Relics and Warlord Traits to truly customise their capacity for carnage, such as an ostentatious Beasthide Mantle which is so thick with trophy hides that attackers can struggle to even find the Ork within.”

There’s also some really great options for Warlord Traits like Bigkilla Boss:

Pile on the attacks and boost the wound rolls! What’s not to like?

Mozrog Skragbad is coming soon and so are the Giant Squigs! Are you ready?

We’re gonna need a bigger boat. Or gun. Yeah, I think a bigger gun.
