Five subscribers from Warhammer+ could win the motherload of hobby paints and supplies from Games Workshop this October!

Games Workshop is holding a massive Giveaway for paints, tools and more hobby supplies this month and you can win as well. Check this out:

via Warhammer Community

“This October, five lucky Warhammer+ subscribers – whether they’re new or existing – will walk away with one of everything from the Citadel Colour range. That’s one of every single paint we make – BaseLayerAirContrastShadeDry, and Technical – as well as one of every brush we make (including the synthetic STC range), and all the tools, including painting handles, clippers, spray racks, files, project boxes, and all the rest. Sadly we can’t offer sprays in this promotion due to shipping restrictions.”

That is a LOT of painting and hobby supplies! And entry is a snap.

“Entry could not be easier. Everybody who’s subscribed to Warhammer+ by the 31st of October 2021 (including existing subscribers) will be entered into a prize draw. Five of these subscribers will be randomly selected to win. That’s it. “

There are some Terms and Conditions which you *might* want to read. I know we point these out but seriously, you probably want to read those T&Cs because there is some important info in there. For starters:

“2.2 The competition is open to residents worldwide, excluding the U.S. state of Rhode Island and the Canadian province of Quebec. Entrants will qualify for one of three sweepstakes depending on their geographical location (see ‘The Prize Draw’ below). This competition is void where prohibited by law.”

Sorry Rhode Island and Quebec. You’re out of the running. There’s also another interesting section that popped out as I was checking out those rules:

3. The Competition
3.1 NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS SWEEPSTAKES.

3.2 Entry is free and open to all those who meet GW’s eligibility requirements and who satisfy the requirements detailed below.”

Wait a minute…no purchase necessary? Hmm…I know that’s typical legal jargon and all but wouldn’t a Warhammer+ subscription constitute a purchase? But I know that GW’s legal team took a look at this and it had to conform to various world-wide laws. But this is why you keep reading!

4. How to Enter
4.1 There are two routes of entry into the prize draw. You may only enter via one route. Each route has the same chance of winning. Entrants will be entered into the sweepstakes for their geographical location.

Entry Route 1:
4.1.1 Be a subscriber of Warhammer+ by close of the promotion period at 23:59 (GMT) on 31st October 2021 (“Qualification Time”). Existing subscribers will be entered into the competition automatically. New subscribers will also be added to the competition automatically at the Qualification Time. Subscriptions cancelled before the Qualification Time will not be eligible to win;”

Okay, sure – be a subscriber and you’re entered. Got it. But what about that SECOND mode of entry?

Entry Route 2: Alternative Method of Entry (AMOE)
4.1.3. email your request to enter to GW at [email protected], with the subject line ‘Warhammer+ Competition’ and including your full name and location (state/region and country) in the main body of your email. No purchase is necessary for this AMOE.

4.2. One entry only per person. Entrants cannot enter multiple draws (e.g. entering the US draw and the Australian draw). Entrants identified as having submitted multiple entries in contravention of these Terms and Conditions will be disqualified.”

BINGO. There’s an “Alternate Method of Entry” option that is free. There’s also more to section 4 that, again, you should read for yourself. But the key thing here is that you can email GW to enter even if you’re not a Warhammer+ Subscriber. But, again, reading the fine print says that if you enter multiple times you’ll get disqualified – So keep the email spam bots and alternate email addresses to yourself.

If you’re already a Warhammer+ subscriber you’re good to go – Good Luck. If you’re not but you still want a shot at winning the motherload of hobby supplies from Games Workshop either start a subscription this month before the deadline or send them an email to enter!

Who knew that reading the Terms and Conditions could pay off!
