If you’re wanting to get your hands on the new Black Templar Army box then you’re going to want to get your pre-order in from GW this weekend. The good news is that if you do, GW is guaranteeing that you’ll get your copy.

The boxed set is a pretty special deal. Not only will it be your first crack at bunch of new Black Templar miniatures, you’ll also be the first to get your hands on a copy of the limited edition of codex supplement, plus reference cards, too!

Games Workshop is saying that they have already produced a LOT of these boxes for fans. However, if for some reason they DO sell out (which they probably will) and you get a pre-order in before the deadline, you’ll still be shipped a copy of the army box.

“Orders will be shipped on a first come, first served basis – it might take a few months to get your Army Set if you get in late, but you’re still guaranteed a copy if you make it in before the cutoff. When you place your pre-order, it will be clear whether you’re buying existing stock or the Made to Order version, so you’ll know what to expect. And as we’re expecting heavy traffic when this set goes live, the webstore queue will be active this weekend for UK, US, and European customers.”

So if you REALLY want to get your copy fast, get your pre-order in as soon as you can. The longer you wait, the longer you might have to wait to get your copy (we’re talkin’ months here, folks). You might also want to get in an order for Black Primer while you’re at it…just sayin.

If for some reason you decide to skip on the army box but want to start a Black Templar army later you’ll still be able to purchase the items from the box at a later date – so all is not lost. You’ll just have to wait for GW to go live with the rest of the Black Templar army range.
