You have to see this tiny screen in action to believe it.

Screens have been getting progressively bigger over the years thanks to advancements in tech. Mr. Volt has gone the opposite way with his latest project – how small can you go? Well, this functional 1080p AMOLED screen is only 0.7″ (~18mm) wide and has over three thousand pixels (which is more than your eye can actually see).

It is remarkably detailed given its size.

Marvel at what tech can do these days as Mr. Volt builds the enclosure and watch as he blasts a bunch of monsters in Doom on the tiniest of screens.

The set up is a mix of 3d printed parts and pre-bought tech (made to fit in a head mounted display like smart glasses/goggles) hooked up to a gaming rig just like you would with any other monitor. Here’s a look at the screen and its enclosure in his hand to give you a true picture of how small this screen really is.

And how close you have to be to it to use it. I’m not sure it’s the healthiest idea for your eyes to do a full play through like this, but I’m sure you could try.
