It’s Black Friday and you know what that means; Black Friday Sales! Time to check out these must-play games and get them for cheap.

Ring Fit Adventure

Ring Fit Adventure isn’t a gamers game, but it’s still really fun. It’s a game where you explore a map and do exercises to defeat monsters. It’s silly at its core, but it’s also weirdly motivating, surprisingly fun, and a great way to exercise if the gym feels a bit pricy or a bit still-in-a-pandemicy.

It’s on sale for $54 from $75 on Amazon, Target, and Best Buy.

Breath of the Wild

The latest Zelda game is a few years old now, coming out in 2017, but it has a sequel on the way and remains to this day one of the best Switch games made. For new players, Breath of the Wild is a great way to introduce them to what gaming and specifically Switch gaming can be, and for younger players it’s a delightful and approachable RPG. The rest of you experienced gamers already know about it and if you, for some reason, haven’t played yet: why not? Here’s your chance.

It’s available on Amazon and GameStop for $27, down from $45.

Yakuza: Like A Dragon

This is the most buck wild game in all of the best ways possible. It’s a little transforming magical girl and a little drama for a result that feels like if a comedian wrote The Sopranos and then made it into a turn based JRPG. There are a ton of weird adult themed summons, some of the most ridiculous RPG costume options I’ve ever seen and a minigame where you’re trying to stay awake during a boring movie and you have to fight off the REM Rams. And oh yeah, it’s a Yakuza game.

Yakuza: Like A Dragon is available today at Target, GameStop and Amazon for $20 from $50 and if I’m being honest it’s more than worth it at that price because it was worth it at full price.

Guardians of the Galaxy

The Guardians of the Galaxy have been a run away hit with even the most casual of Marvel fans, and they should be. They’re an objectively fun and funny team up who lend themselves well to crowd pleasing feature length films, and now a super popular video game. Easily the newest game on this list, the Guardians of the Galaxy game takes a distinctly more comic book approach to the characters and their dynamic with a fun, fast paced game.

It’s way down at $25 from $60 on Amazon.

Life Is Strange: True Colors

If you hadn’t heard, Life Is Strange: True Colors is good. Nominated for multiped categories in 2021’s Video Game Awards sort of good. It’s hard to say much about a game with a mystery at its core without risking spoiling part of the story, but there’s secrets, supernatural powers, and fantastic writing.

You can see what makes Life Is Strange so great for yourself today for $35, down from $55 on Amazon, Target, and Best Buy.
